Canadian rapper-singer Roy Woods is bringing his ME & U Tour to Australia on the back of his recent release ‘Mixed Emotions’, after a 5-year hiatus. The tour, produced by 808 LIVE, will feature songs from Roy’s first two albums – Say Less (2017) and Mixed Emotions (2023), as well as hits from his early EPs ‘Exis’, ‘Walking at Dawn’ and more.
Roy has achieved almost 2 billion streams with his music, has 1 million instagram followers and attracts 4 million Spotify plays monthly. His 3-city Australian tour kicks off on May 31 in Brisbane, and will include dates lined up throughout Sydney (June1) and Melbourne (June 2).
Ahead of his first Australian tour, Roy Woods caught up with Australian Musician editor Greg Phillips for a chat about his career, his mentor Drake and the upcoming tour down under.
