That’s right, Australian Musician magazine was established in 1995 and next year we celebrate the 30 year milestone with many special features and events starting with our special ‘In Conversation’ session with PAUL DEMPSEY at the 2025 Melbourne Guitar Show at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
And we’re pleased to say MGS ’25 tickets are now on sale, with the full program to be announced in the new year.
Fresh off a sensational national tour with Fanning Dempsey National Park, celebrated solo artist and Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey will take to the stage on Saturday March 1st at midday at the Melbourne Guitar Show to chat with Australian Musician about his career and of course … guitars!

• A new venue, the Victoria Pavillion at Melbourne Showgrounds
• ‘Quiet time’ (no amps) for two hours each morning. For those that love the sound of a guitar show in full swing, and those that want to look around in a quieter environment, we’re doing both!
