The annual Kool Skools Awards took place at Empire Studios in Heidelberg, Melbourne last Saturday night with Coburg High School coming out on top as the ‘Koolest Skool’. All winners listed below
Since 1997, KoolSkools has recorded hundreds of albums of original music by emerging artists, has produced numerous live concerts in partnership with secondary schools and youth councils and showcased such talent as @missyhiggins, @anthonycallea, @caseydonovan, @axlewhitehead, @deangeyer and @deltagoodrem. The Kool Skools Project has provided students with exceptional opportunities to explore their musical talents and creativity in a supportive and professional environment. Through their collaboration with Empire Music Studios, students are not only able to develop their musical skills but also gain valuable industry experience. These programs foster a sense of belonging and empowerment among participants, inspiring them to pursue their passion for music and the arts. Empire Music Studios is dedicated to providing high-quality music education and mentorship to young people, regardless of their background or circumstances. Kool Skools invests in the future of our community’s young musicians and contributes to the cultural enrichment of our society.
