Kicking off this summer (US TIME), Fender is releasing new signature song collections from top artists on its complete online learning app, Fender Play, to motivate and inspire the nearly 1M new users that learned to play in 2020.
Fender has partnered with H.E.R., Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and more to release some of their most popular songs on its app for aspiring players to learn and pick up new skills. Knowing that 90% of beginners quit within the first year, Fender aims to keep “pandemic players” engaged and excited to continue their musical journey by enhancing its song library to connect with the most diverse generation of players to date.
To up the ante, Fender is also launching a multiple-weeks giveaway for Fender Play users to win their favorite artists’ very own signature guitar. The only catch? Players must learn a song from the new artist collection within a week – details HERE.
