The Allman Betts Family Revival is a Southern American rock band founded by Devon Allman and Duane Betts, both of whom are the sons of founding Allman Brothers Band members Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, respectively.
Devon and Duane came together to continue their fathers’ musical legacy while also creating their own distinctive sound. The band’s music is rooted in Southern rock, blues, and classic rock, paying homage to the Allman Brothers Band’s iconic sound.
The Allman Betts Family Revival shows have become known as the “Jam of the Year” as, along with the Allman Betts house band, they invite a slew of amazing musicians to join them for each show.

A word from Peter Noble OAM, owner of Bluesfest Tours
“Arguably, the two original jam bands are the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers, and although both bands are no longer performing, we are going to be presenting a jam band extravaganza that is truly a homage to the Allman Brothers.
The performance regularly features some of the Allman Brothers’ classic songs, such as Midnight Rider, Rambin’ Man, Jessica, Soulshine, Magnolia Road, No One to Run With, Melissa, Blue Sky and more.
I can’t wait to hear such great Australian artists joining Devon Alman and Ally Venable, such as Mossy, Don Turner, Lachie Doley, Ray Beadle, Harts, Ashley Naylor, and more. What a night! It’s been a while since anything like this has happened in Australia, and it’s likely to be quite a while since anything like this happens again”.
Allman Betts Family Revival will be playing the following shows:
Wednesday 27 March: The Metro Theatre, Sydney
Monday 1 April: Northcote Theatre, Melbourne
