Roundhouse Entertainment, in conjunction with MG Live and Frontier Touring, is delighted to welcome back Ireland’s electronic indie pop queen RÓISÍN MURPHY for her first Australian headline shows in more than five years. Kicking off Live At The Gardens’ March series, RÓISÍN MURPHY will bring her electrifying performance to the iconic Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne on Friday 7 March, 2025.
The Mercury Music Prize nominated avant-garde artist will play her only Melbourne show at Live At The Gardens on Friday 7 March, followed by shows in Brisbane and Sydney, as well as WOMADelaide in South Australia and New Zealand.

With her indomitable artistic spirit, RÓISÍN MURPHY is one of electronic pop’s most ingenious and forward-thinking voices. Murphy first became known in the ’90s as part of the successful pop duo Moloko with hit singles Sing It Back, The Time Is Now and Pure Pleasure Seeker, and has since forged an illustrious and critically acclaimed solo career with hits like Overpowered, Ramalama (Bang Bang) and You Know Me Better.
Murphy is an incomparable live performer. She was the first singer to play Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and has shared stages at the most prestigious festivals across the world, including headline appearances at Glastonbury West Holts Stage, Homobloc, Coachella and Primavera Sound.
Armed with a show-stopping wardrobe and an electrifying live band, she most recently joined the ranks of star-studded performers to perform at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall, with an expanded band and camera’s recording, and relaying her electrifying show in real time.
