360 ANNOUNCES NATIONAL OUT OF THE BLUE 2025 TOUR FOR JULY + AUGUST & RELEASES SINGLE
ARIA Award-winning and multi-platinum Australian rapper 360 is back and ready to ignite Aussie stages once again, today announcing his national Out Of The Blue Tour that will see him return to the largest venues he’s graced since he exploded onto the scene in the 2010s, hitting Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth this July and August, joined by fellow local hip hop icon, and longtime 360 collaborator, PEZ. Fresh off the release of his potent new single Save My Soul, 360 has unveiled his forthcoming fifth studio album, Out Of The Blue (pre-save now), set for release this July, coinciding with the start of this incredible upcoming run of shows.
Tickets for 360’s Out Of The Blue Tour go onsale to the general public on Friday 21 March at 9am local time from 360music.com.au. Fans can register for presale tickets now from 360music.com.au with presale kicking off on Thursday 20 March from 9am local time.
Erupting onto the scene in the early 2010s, 360 firmly established his status as one of Australia’s most iconic and beloved rappers, blazing trails, storming charts and taking home multiple ARIA Award nominations and two wins alongside many other accolades over the years. In a live setting, 360 is renowned for his electrifying stage presence that has seen him enrapture sold out headline crowds, as well as perform across the globe alongside the likes of Eminem and Kendrick Lamar, and onstage at Lollapalooza, Big Day Out and Splendour In The Grass. Back in 2023, 360 returned to his musical pursuits, embarking on his first official run of shows in just under six years, swiftly selling out the first half of his Back To Life regional tour, and closing out the year with part two of the Back To Life tour and a new freestyle track, Most Wanted. And this year, fans will not only get a chance to witness 360’s insatiable flow and earnest-yet-playful storytelling in a live setting; they’ll also get a chance to catch his brand new single, Save My Soul, and more on stage this July and August.
One of the first songs written for 360’s upcoming fifth studio album Out Of The Blue, Save My Soul, which dropped earlier this month, is a heartfelt yet upbeat outing, bustling with old school beats, glossy production and 360 flitting between rapping and serene chorus vocals. Also armed with a sharp accompanying music video, Save My Soul finds 360 in full buoyant flight; joyful, honest and vehemently meaningful, with the track also hinting at incredible things to come from its broader upcoming album.
“It’s been really exciting to start releasing new music,” shares 360. “I’ve spent most of my career releasing albums whilst struggling with mental health issues and addiction, so to be in a healthy and happy place whilst putting this out has been exhilarating. I’ve finally let go of the need for others approval, where it used to dictate how i would operate in every aspect of my life. It’s very liberating.”
In 2008, 360, aka Matt Colwell, first turned heads via his debut album What You See Is What You Get, before his 2011 release Falling & Flying catapulted the talented Melbourne-hailing rapper into a new stratosphere. Praised for its genre fluidity, emotive weight and 360’s undeniable charisma, Falling & Flying peaked at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified double platinum, with the album also securing two ARIA Music Awards in 2012 amongst several nominations, taking home wins for Breakthrough Artist – Release and Producer of the Year. At this point already declared a pioneer for his innovative artistry and delivery, 360 went on to release 2014’s Utopia and 2017’s Vintage Modern, with Utopia reaching #2 on the ARIA charts and certified gold, and Vintage Modern reaching #3 on the ARIA Australian Albums charts. And amongst many hurdles adjacent to his ongoing success, from an accident in 2010 that almost upended the release of Falling & Flying to his battle with addiction and mental health issues in later years, 360 has continued to breathe new life into the world via his creativity, whether teaming up with Support Act on his 2023 Back To Life Regional Tour for some of his performances, or providing a relatable shoulder for his fans to connect with via his ongoing releases. And in 2025, 360 is once again set to weave his signature and singular magic with Out Of The Blue, marking his first new record since 2017’s acclaimed LP Vintage Modern, and set to be celebrated in spectacular fashion via 360’s hotly-anticipated national performances this July and August
“I’m so keen to be back touring in general,” shares 360, “but to have PEZ with me on the Out Of The Blue Tour feels special too. We’ve reconnected so much over the last year or two and the fans will be able to see that. Expect a lot of energy and also for the live show to tell a bit of a story of my life.”
And as to what fans can expect from album #5 and beyond this year for 360? “This album feels like an amalgamation of all my older music, but with new influences, but much more refined and polished,” 360 reveals. “I couldn’t have done this without Tyron Hapi, having him to write these songs with me has been such a blessing. My new album Out Of The Blue is out this July, plus The Forthwrite Podcast is coming soon too, I can’t wait for people to check that out also.”
Seemingly out of the blue in 2025, 360 is primed and ready to return with gusto once again, with a national tour and his fifth studio album on the very near horizon. Do not miss your chance to witness one of Australia’s most prolific creatives live in action this July and August, this will absolutely be one for the 360 history books!

DELILAH ROSE ‘Sophia’ (Single)
‘Sophia’ is bold, feminine, seductive, and kaleidoscopic. On Friday, March 21, Delilah Rose will unveil her through her latest single. Based in Meanjin, Delilah Rose is reviving the velvet-draped sounds of ’70s rock, crafting tracks that ignite a fiery nostalgia—both familiar and uniquely her own. Her distinctive sound has drawn attention from festivals such as Nannup Music Festival, Wave Rock Festival, Gympie Music Muster, and Malaysia’s Miri Country Music Festival, as well as accolades like Best Group at the WA Country Music Awards. Passionate about community, story and self-expression, she founded The Song Café, a monthly songwriter event at The Cave Inn showcasing women, First Nations artists, and gender non-conforming creatives in Brisbane.
Her newest single ‘Sophia’ is a sensual exploration of faith, individuality, and the divine feminine —an anthem of empowerment woven into swampy rock. With hypnotic guitar riffs, edgy vocals, and dynamic percussion, the track channels a bold, retro energy that feels both timeless and transformative.
Derived from the Greek word for wisdom, Sophia is often depicted as the feminine embodiment of God, and this song serves an outlet for Delilah Rose’s complex exploration of her faith. After relocating interstate, uncovering her neurodiversity, and navigating the onset of perimenopause, her faith has been dismantled and rebuilt.
Delilah Rose reflects on her journey, saying, “It’s been a process of unraveling the patriarchy from my soul and an embracing of the divine feminine. I’ve grown kinder and gentler with myself. I’m so grateful to have met Sophia.”
Delilah Rose will host ‘Sophia’s live debut on 28th March at her single launch show at the Method Cafe, QLD, where her dynamic energy will encapsulate the heart of the song on stage.
Tune in on Friday, March 21, when Delilah Rose shares with the world her ‘Sophia’.

BEL KIL ‘Wasted Emotion’ (EP)
Melbourne indie pop artist Bel Kil has just unveiled her phenomenal sophomore EP, Wasted Emotion. Nurturing the momentum which arose from the release of a pair of brilliant singles in 2024 – namely ‘Rose Street’ and ‘Not Whatchu Think’ – Bel returns now with a more extensive project in Wasted Emotion, ready and eager to take things to the next level.
Having written, recorded, and produced every element of the EP herself, Bel Kil proves time and time again that her musical abilities extend beyond those of a brilliant singer-songwriter alone. The EP was then mixed by 2 x Emmy winning and Bafta Nominated Producer, Mixer and Engineer Guus Hoevenaars (Courtney Barnett, Vance Joy, The National, Tones & I, The Avalanches, Tkay Maidza, Scissor Sisters). On the process of producing the EP, Bel said:
“When you create every part yourself, it’s hard to step back and hear it with fresh ears. You know every detail and have heard it repeatedly, making it tough to decipher what’s essential or how the song truly feels when you already know what’s coming. I’d love the superpower to wipe my mind of the song and experience it emotionally for the first time.” BEL KIL
Receiving production mentoring and advice from Telenova’s Ed Quinn throughout the operation though, Bel was excited to incorporate fresh perspective into her own process, expressing that his “feedback proved incredibly helpful.” She explained that, “in many cases, it centred around reductive production, focusing on eliminating unnecessary ideas and sounds. I want to keep growing as a songwriter, producer and engineer and his feedback was so helpful. In most cases it was about reductive production, eliminating unnecessary ideas and sounds.” BEL KIL
EP Art by: Ruby Taylor
Undertaking a journey through the mind, heart, and worldview of Bel Kil, the Wasted Emotion EP offers “a rollercoaster ride through a range of raw emotions and lived experiences.” With the already released singles ‘Rose Street’ and ‘Not Whatchu Think’ alone delving into such a range of themes, from finding excitement in vulnerability and the thrills of potential romantic connection, to a statement of self assuredness, and a desire to be authentic to oneself in every aspect of life– there is no topic too big or too small, too personal or too universal for Bel Kil.
On new track ‘Ruthless’, Bel defies the challenges laid out before her on the path to her dreams, committed beyond measure to pursuing them at all costs. ‘Kinda Funny’, meanwhile, emerges as a celebration of these pursuits, and of having the courage to undertake them despite the judgement of others and the expectations of the world we live in.
Finally, the EP’s focus and title track, ‘Wasted Emotion’, uncovers the bittersweet nature of growing up, framed as something of a love letter to the self. The song offers comfort, advice, encouragement, and an overall sense of understanding to its narrator’s past self. It condemns all of the insecurities and judgements that we tend to lose so much time and energy over when we’re young, dismissing them all as nothing more than a ‘wasted emotion’, and ‘uninvited notion’.
To welcome the record into the world, Bel Kil will be playing an EP launch show on Friday March 21st in her home city of Melbourne, supported by friends Ethan Conway and Cycad.

CANDLEMASS CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW EP ‘BLACK STAR’ (Out May 9)
Swedish godfathers of epic doom CANDLEMASS celebrate their 40th anniversary of pioneering the genre with a four-track EP, Black Star. Packed with craterous riffs, this celebration of doom metal mastery is set for release on May 9, 2025 via Napalm Records.
With Black Star, the genre-defying band unveils two brand-new songs alongside two cover versions of timeless classics. The EP will be available in various formats, including a strictly limited vinyl edition featuring a 12-page vinyl booklet, an A3 poster, and a tote bag.
CANDLEMASS mastermind Leif Edling comments:
“Not all bands get to see their 40th birthday and it certainly hasn’t been an easy ride. But many ups and downs later, we stand here as survivors, veterans even… a bit scarred perhaps? Still ready though to unleash another piece of doom-laden metal upon an unsuspecting world. You have to do something when you turn 40, right? Anyway, as always, it’s been fun recording some new stuff as well as covering a couple of old favorites.”

Title track, “Black Star”, blends haunting melodies with deeply introspective lyrics, brought to life by the dark, romantic voice of vocalist Johan Länquist. Songwriter Leif Edling’s lyrics delve into themes of existential struggle, temptation, and the allure of darkness — creating an intense atmosphere imbued with CANDLEMASS’ signature sound. The second new track, “Corridors Of Chaos”, marks a true old school instrumental containing both classic metal riffing and stunning guitar playing by Lars Johansson, showcasing the band’s mastery of dynamics. Adding to this tribute, CANDLEMASS delivers a cover of Black Sabbath’s iconic “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath”, taking listeners back to 1973. This is followed by their rendition of Pentagram’s classic “Forever My Queen”, further cementing CANDLEMASS’ remarkable contribution to shaping the genre into what it is today.

BEDDY RAYS – DO WHAT YA WANNA (out April 18)
Today, Brisbane based four piece Beddy Rays have announced their highly anticipated sophomore album, Do What Ya Wanna, set for release 18 April 2025. To mark the occasion the Brisbane four-piece have also shared the lead single from the album ‘Red Lights’ out now everywhere, alongside a western-themed official video clip.
Following on from recent singles ‘Stay The Same’ and ‘Hold On’ that will also be featured on the record, ‘Red Lights’ encapsulates the band’s signature high-voltage, larrikin-punk energy whilst lyrically exploring themes of otherness, self-discovery and giving yourself the time and space to figure it all out. Speaking of the new single, the band explains “’Red Lights’ is the lead single of our next record ‘Do What Ya Wanna’. We chose this song because we feel like it sets the tone for the record. It’s about overcoming adversity, going through tough times but remaining positive and growing from those moments. Hoping it will resonate with those going through a tough time as it’s a reminder that things will always get better.”
To mark the occasion, Beddy Rays have also released a western-inspired video clip directed, produced and edited by Natalie Sim. The band say of the video clip “Red Lights leans into our jangly, indie style of songwriting, which directly inspired the western-themed clip. We wanted to blend classic Sergio Leone-style cinematography with absurd humour and gritty western vibes — and Nat Day (Method To My Madness) was instrumental in bringing it all together. Honestly, any excuse to whip out the Akubra works for us.”
WATCH :: BEDDY RAYS ‘RED LIGHTS’ OFFICIAL VIDEO CLIP
Beddy Rays’ second album, Do What Ya Wanna, captures the heart of the band’s irresistible charm – raw, fun-loving, and heartfelt – whilst also pushing their sound into fresh territory. The record is a celebration of navigating life’s highs and lows, with a unique blend of slapstick humor, heartfelt sincerity, and unapologetic fervor. Themes of mateship, mental health and self-discovery are woven throughout, making it both a cathartic release and a soundtrack for living in the moment. Across the album, themes of escape and release resonate powerfully. Expect songs which tackle the overwhelming excesses of modern life – expectations, authenticity and stress – and offer a simple antidote: being with the people and places you love.
With a sound that nods to the early eras of punk icons like Green Day and Weezer while embracing the melodic expansiveness of bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Do What Ya Wanna marks a natural evolution for Beddy Rays. It’s a reminder of the power of letting loose, staying true to yourself and finding the beautiful in both chaos and connection.
Frontman Jacko reflects, “This album is us – our highs, our lows, and everything in between. Writing it was a way to make sense of all the craziness life throws at you, but it’s also about not taking yourself too seriously and enjoying the ride. That’s what Beddy Rays is all about.”
Do What Ya Wanna will be out on 18 April 2025. Pre-order the album HERE, and pre-save the album HERE.

COHEED AND CAMBRIA RELEASE MONUMENTAL 10TH STUDIO ALBUM
New York’s own Coheed and Cambria have releasef their monumental 10th studio album, The Father of Make Believe, via Virgin Music Group. The Father of Make Believe includes the previously shared singles Goodbye, Sunshine, Blind Side Sonny, Searching For Tomorrow and Someone Who Can. Additionally, Coheed and Cambria will receive the key to the city of their hometown Nyack, New York on April 13th.
Last week, Coheed and Cambria celebrated the release of The Father of Make Believe with an intimate show at New York City’s Irving Plaza, which streamed live on VEEPS worldwide.
The Father of Make Believe carves out new sonic territory amidst all of the wailing guitars, drums that crack like fireworks, and Sanchez’s aching, powerful voice that centres us through moments both placid and pinwheeling. Narratively, The Father of Make Believe continues the story of The Amory Wars / Vaxis universe, following Coheed and Cambria’s 2022 album Vaxis Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind. But where the set really forges new ground is in how Sanchez embraces the role of main character. He’s often used epic songcraft to mask the stories he wanted to tell: reflections on an addicted father, memories of his beloved grandfather, concern about raising a child in a cruel world, hopes and fears around the love of his life. This time, he’s writing more directly about his life and, especially, his unusual career. Sanchez is the Father of Make Believe, gazing down upon this world he’s wrought.
Additionally, Sanchez recently announced his new guitar The Jackhammer, named after the famous line from Coheed and Cambria’s song In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 – “man your own jackhammer.” The Jackhammer is the first presentation from Claudio’s new guitar and music company, Evil Instruments and was completely designed by Sanchez, with assistance from long-time guitar tech Kevin Allen, and fine tuned and built by Los Angeles-based Dunable Guitars. Pre-Orders will be announced in the coming weeks, those interested in purchasing can sign up HERE. Prices will start around $1600.
Coheed and Cambria will embark on their co-headline US tour with Taking Back Sunday this August and September following their co-headline arena tour with Mastodon this May and June. This July, the band will perform at 2000 Trees with Kneecap, Taking Back Sunday, Alexisonfire, and more in the United Kingdom. This November, Coheed will embark on their S.S. Neverender 2025 cruise with Thursday, L.S. Dunes, The Dear Hunter, Illuminati Hotties, Zulu and more.
For the last 20 years, Coheed and Cambria have continuously broken the mould of what a rock band can be, forging their own path and building a universe around their music unlike any other. Whether it is in the way their genre-spanning approach to songwriting has allowed them to bridge worlds without being contained to one, or the multifaceted story arc of their albums and comic book series which mark the longest running concept story in music, Coheed and Cambria have consistently shaped new standards, never conformed. Comprised of Claudio Sanchez (Vocals / Guitar), Travis Stever (Guitar), Josh Eppard (Drums) and Zach Cooper (Bass) the band has gripped listeners and press around the globe with their visionary compositions and conceptual mastery.

KEEPING NORTH ‘DEMONS & DREAMERS’ (SINGLE)
Songs can come from anywhere. From adventures, from history, from matters of the heart. Most of the songs on Keeping North’s album ‘Demons & Dreamers’ come from the imagination of songwriter Steve Tyson. Little pieces of fiction, other peoples’ made-up stories. But perhaps inspired by the real world and lives well-lived.
Tyson was listening to The Delines and the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss collaboration when the songs from ‘Demons & Dreamers’ started to evolve. Also on high rotation on his car’s CD player was early Joe Tex, and Albert King.
Together with guitarist Ian Shawsmith and drummer Stu Hoffman, Tyson grew up in the Australian city Brisbane at the time of the notorious Fitzgerald Inquiry into corruption, playing gigs in clubs run by petty gangsters and bent cops.
The characters that frequented those venues provided plenty of lyrical fodder for these songs written many years later. Pedal steel player Jeff Spencer heard those stories and wanted in. But the need for sweetness, to balance out the grit in the tales, comes from bassist and singer Jodi Murtha. The end result is a set of alt.country tunes laced with the blues, tinged with soul, and informed by folk music.
Tyson has long been regarded as an important songwriter in the Australian landscape, critically acclaimed for his solo work. Said respected critic Noel Mengel (former chief music writer for the Courier Mail), ’these are songs that are built to last. Powerful, passionate songcraft that is worthy of your time.’
Keeping North will be playing a series of album launch dates in South-East Queensland and northern New South Wales, kicking off on March 30th, before taking their show on the road further south later in the year.

PRESS CLUB ‘I AM EVERYTHING’ (Single) + AUSTRALIAN & EUROPEAN TOUR DATES
With their fourth album set for independent release on May 2nd, today Naarm/Melbourne four piece Press Club share latest single ‘I Am Everything’. Lifted from the forthcoming LP To All The Ones That I Love, ‘I Am Everything’ is about the complexities and contradictions of life.
Lead singer Natalie Foster speaks to the track “it’s about the way we carry both light and darkness within us. It reflects on the struggles we face, the vulnerability that comes with being human, and the strength we find in pushing through challenges. Life can be difficult and overwhelming, but it’s also full of meaning and value if we’re willing to look for it.”
There’s a deep need for connection running through the song—a desire to be seen, heard, and understood. It captures the universal experience of battling with inner conflict, confronting doubts and regrets, and finding a sense of purpose in the process. At its core, it’s about the beauty of embracing both the highs and lows of the journey and discovering the gold hidden in life’s challenges.
“I Am Everything came about in a funny way from a songwriting perspective, I recorded the little one bar acoustic guitar part and was just looping it over and over, Frank had to leave the studio for the day and I was desperate to continue working on the song, so I pleaded with him to record a drum-take. He obliged and recorded an entire song’s worth of drums, improvising the song structure as he went along. This ended up on the album unchanged and we built the rest of the song around that take. I love the atmospherics on this song and it was particularly fulfilling to experiment with subtle and not so subtle vocal effects.” Guitarist and engineer Greg Rietwyk reflects on the recording of the track.
WATCH THE VIDEO CLIP FOR ‘I AM EVERYTHING’ HERE
To All The Ones That I Love was recorded at the band’s own studio in Footscray with guitarist Greg Rietwyk on production and mixing, before the album was mastered by Kris Crummett (Closure in Moscow, Dune Rats, Currents). Encapsulating the maturity of the band, the album offers the listener a ride through various genres and traverses themes of introspection, growth, change and learning from past mistakes.
The new track comes with the announcement Press Club will return to the UK and Europe in June for what will be their sixth tour. The month long run includes festival performances 2000 Trees in the UK, Farewell Youth and Not Sorry Festivals in Germany, and performing for their first time in Croatia at INmusic Festival. An abundance of headline shows are also on sale now including an Australian double bill in Hamburg with friends and tour buddies DZ Deathrays.
Bassist Iain MacRae says the band are “totally stoked to be heading back over to Europe for our 6th tour of duty! Time after time it just gets better, and we truly count our blessings to be able to meet so many incredible people and see so many new things – all in the name of rock and roll.”
Before they head off Press Club celebrate the May album release with two hometown shows at The Tote: all afternoon all ages show with support from W.O.M.B.A.T and Good Sniff, followed by an 18+ evening show with Great Australian Bank and Good Sniff. Tickets on sale now.

THE MARY TYLER WHORES RELEASE EXPLOSIVE COVER OF DEVO’S ‘WHIP IT’
Punk rock chaos is about to erupt as The Mary Tyler Whores have officially unleashed their highly anticipated fourth single and video, ‘Whip It’ via Golden Robot Records. Produced by punk legend Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks / Bad Religion), this turbocharged, high-voltage version of Devo’s cult classic slaps harder than ever, dripping with the band’s signature filthy punk energy.
For frontman Frankie “Crime” Cassara, this cover is more than just a tribute – it’s a full-circle moment.
“The first time I ever heard Devo’s ‘Whip It,’ I was 10 years old in Bushwick, Brooklyn. My father took me to my brother’s dive bar, and the song was blasting while some wild daredevil chick was riding a mechanical bull. That moment seared itself into my brain. I asked my brother, ‘What the hell kinda music is this?’ and from then on, Devo became a cornerstone of my love for punk and new wave.”
A band known for their reckless abandon and rebellious spirit, The Mary Tyler Whores took on ‘Whip It’ as both die-hard fans and fellow misfits in the punk scene. “Devo were like mad punk scientists – anti-rock, full of humor, anger, and bizarre visuals. We’ve always carried that same weird, chaotic energy. Covering ‘Whip It’ felt like the perfect way to pay tribute while ripping it open for a new generation.”

Shot in downtown Los Angeles in January 2025 – right in the middle of the city’s wildfire devastation – the ‘Whip It’ video is a high-intensity, no-holds-barred spectacle. Directed, edited, and enhanced with SFX by Faust (Infinivision), with cinematography by Blake Russ, and Money$Punk Productions backing the madness, the video blends surrealism with pure punk destruction.
Legendary producer Greg Hetson even makes an appearance, opening the video as a retro 1980s-style MTV VJ, announcing an alien invasion over Los Angeles. What follows is pure punk mayhem:
“We invited friends and selected fans to a private live performance, all dressed in full ‘80s spirit. In true Mary Tyler Whores fashion, we pillaged, we plundered, we danced, and we absolutely destroyed the set. Of course, we paid for the damage – watch the video to see the chaos unfold!”
MICHAEL G. JONES GIVES US ‘HEARTS OF JOY’ (Single)
Following a strong reception to his previous rollicking, toe-tapping song ‘Irish Dawn’, Australian singer-songwriter Michael G. Jones slows things down a little with his heart-rending new single, ‘Hearts of Joy’.
Jones explains; “Hearts Of Joy’ is a ballad that tells the story of a prodigal Irish son’s yearning for his family after travelling the world. It is a story as old as humanity, and could be about any adventurous traveller from any country in the world. They all miss their family, homeland and their roots at some time”.
Watch the lyric video here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7H3qlTnhhE
Superbly produced by Taxiride’s Tim Wild, (who also contributed guitars and bass to the track), ‘Irish Dawn’ also features the multi-talented Matiss Schubert on fiddle, mandolin, button accordion and Irish whistle, with Carolyn Oats on drums.
Like ‘Irish Dawn’, ‘Hearts of Joy’ is an extension of Jones’ love for Irish music and the unique sounds it creates.
Jones says: “What cemented my interest in Irish music was seeing Riverdance for the first time. I was hooked from then on and listened to everything I could, especially the different interpretations of The Dubliners and The Chieftains”
Jones continues: “There is something magical about sitting in a bar and playing with other musicians and singing from the heart. That is what Irish music is for me. There are many Irish bars and pubs across the globe.
The music and the joyous atmosphere they provide is universally popular. ‘Hearts Of Joy’ and ‘Irish Dawn’ were inspired by the times I have spent in these musical gatherings”
‘Hearts Of Joy’ is available now on all major digital platforms.

CANDICE NIGHT ‘The Last Goodbye’ (Single) New Album, Sea Glass Coming April 25 via earMusic
‘The Last Goodbye’ (featuring Ritchie Blackmore on guitar) is the second single from award-winning musician and singer Candice Night’s upcoming solo album, ‘Sea Glass’, set to be released on April 25th, 2025, via earMUSIC as a limited edition LP, CD Digipak, and Digital.
’The Last Goodbye’ explores themes of love and loss with a beautiful melody that captures both sadness and hopefulness. It evokes a deep sense of nostalgia, bringing forth a flood of emotions. Unlike the fantasy elements in Blackmore’s Night, Candice Night’s solo work is a direct expression of her true self. She emphasizes the emotional impact of her music, both when writing and listening to it, and how it serves as a reflection of her life’s journey.
‘Love is a story topic that has always inspired me. Love found, longed for, and lost… The depth of completely giving your heart to another with the promise of forever, which starts so hopeful and magical but leaves us so vulnerable and helpless in the wake of torrential emotional storms. Like the moon and tides, relationships ebb and flow, wax and wane. How to know when a sad moment of hard truth appears if you stay together or if it will ultimately be The Last Goodbye. This song takes us on the emotional journey of that deep, heartfelt decision.’ – Candice Night

’Sea Glass’ is available in the following formats: CD Digipak with lyric booklet, Limited LP Gatefold with lyric book, ’Sea Glass – green’ colored vinyl, and Digital. Produced by Candice Night, it features a musical alchemy of her influences, experiences, and sensibility inspired by a lifetime of challenging musical adventures as well as the magic and demands of everyday life and family. It is an album that travels through rock, country, and deft acoustic pop terrains and matters of love, loss, inspiration, and hope to unearth sonic jewels, much like the power of the natural forces that craft sea glass itself.
’…these slivers of hope were actually just pieces of broken glass, sea glass, that had been tossed away, shattered, smoothed by the rapture of the waves, and returned back to the land, as gems, to be found with great joy by someone like me. No longer lost upon the sand… ‘Sea Glass’ is for you to treasure…’ – Candice Night

SPILL TAB SHARES NEW FRENCH SPOKEN SINGLE ‘ASSIS’
Fearlessly exploring new sonic landscapes and vulnerabilities, LA-based French-Korean singer, songwriter, and producer spill tab (aka Claire Chicha) unveils another taster of her highly anticipated debut album with her new single ‘Assis’. A soulful and textured blend of earthy funk grooves, the track is sung in both English and French, her father’s language, seamlessly weaving rich layers of sound and emotion. With production from John Hill (FKA Twigs, Charli XCX) and Solomonophic (SZA, Lola Young, Remi Wolf), ‘Assis; further showcases spill tab’s boundless songwriting prowess and sets the tone for what’s to come with her debut album ANGIE.
Listen now and watch the official video, directed by Sweetiepie, via the link below:
WATCH :: ‘ASSIS’ OFFICIAL VIDEO CLIP
Speaking about the song, Chicha shares “the production for Assis feels like the stitching between a 50’s Italian film soundtrack and psychedelic rock. The song is about watching someone you love pull away from you in slow motion. You try to reconcile the beautiful, tender moments with the bitter ones, because ultimately you want no one else.”
Set for release 16th May on Because Music, ANGIE’s 12 tracks fizz with enthusiasm, uninhibited creativity, and intricate musicianship. As evinced by her recent singles, the album spans Chicha’s variegated musical interests, joyously veering from the bass-weight and pitched-up vocals of glitchy opener ‘PINK LEMONADE’ to the grungy distortion and sultry French-language lyrics of ‘De Guerre’ to the euphoric guitar solos of the title track.
“I love this collection of songs so deeply,” she states, “they feel more honest than anything I’ve created in a long time, and I’m so proud of the hundreds (thousands??) of hours that were spent writing, producing, chipping away at vocals, tightening up harmonies, re-writing bass lines, deleting entire sections, coming up with completely new ones, with all the the insane collaborators that worked on this project. It’s really special to hear all these experiences on love and loss, rejection and passion, walking away and holding on too tight, all coexisting together in one place: a cumulation of these last few years of my life.”
Since the release of her infectious debut single ‘Decompose’, Chicha has evolved her spill tab project through three EPs: 2020’s synth-pop influenced Oatmilk, 2021’s playful, uptempo Bonnie, featuring Gus Dapperton and Tommy Genesis, and 2023’s co-produced, sonically-intricate Klepto, which gleefully meanders from the Hiatus Kaiyote-influenced jazz freakouts of ‘CRÈME BRÛLÉE!’ to the guitar-chugging thump of ‘Splinter’. Live, meanwhile, Chicha’s explosively energetic presence earned slots opening the North American leg of popstar Sabrina Carpenter’s tour, as well as an Australian run with alt-rock trio Wallows.
Recently announced to support AIR in Europe, spill tab will also be joining Perfume Genius as a special guest at ICA in London on March 27, spill tab has announced a headline tour across the UK and Europe this May and June. The tour will see her performing at venues including Oslo in London and The Deaf Institute in Manchester.
Chicha began work on the music for what would become ANGIE without expectation, exploring new sounds and ideas with her LA-based community of collaborators like producer David Marinelli, Solomonophonic, Wyatt and Austin and John DeBold. “It became this beautiful experience of only following ideas that I really believed in and exploring all the musical avenues I hadn’t before,” she says. From the bossa nova romanticism of ‘Hold Me’ to the panning synths and chopped vocals of ‘De Guerre’, the earthy funk groove of ‘Assis’ and downtempo electronic atmospherics of ‘Doesn’t That Scare You’, on ANGIE Chicha builds a luscious, deep and often unexpected universe all of her own. It’s spill tab fully in control and free to follow wherever the sound goes next – all we need to do is listen.
Raised by a French Algerian composer father and a Korean pianist mother, Chicha spent her early years immersed in music at her parents’ post-production studio, absorbing jazz, classical, and other diverse influences. Following a childhood spent between LA, Thailand, and Paris, where she picked up guitar and soaked in a variety of musical traditions, Chicha developed a distinctive sound blending raw-edged guitar confessionals with anthemic pop hooks.
Her work has earned her four ‘Hottest Record’ accolades from BBC Radio 1, where she has also performed live in session at the iconic Maida Vale studios and been honoured multiple times as Future Artists Tune of the Week and Next Wave. Additional support has come from Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music, as well as a playlist feature from Apple Music 1.

DEEP PURPLE’S SIMON McBRIDE NEW ALBUM
Releases New Album ‘Recordings: 2020-2025’ – Out Now!
Simon McBride, one of the most celebrated guitarists to emerge in recent years, releases his new album today.
‘Recordings: 2020–2025’ brings together a selection of carefully chosen covers and original songs, recorded during a pivotal period in his life. As McBride reflects, “all the recordings in this collection go back to the period right before I became Deep Purple’s guitar player which, even now, still feels a bit surreal to say.”
“We are just products of our influences”, says McBride when asked about how he developed his unique guitar style – and this idea is reflected in his choice of songs. Alongside his own compositions, he reimagines classics by The Cure, The Kinks, Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, Bill Withers, Free, and others in his own distinctive sound.
Unlike today’s computer-polished productions that rely heavily on editing, McBride and his three-piece band recorded his original songs in a single take, capturing the chemistry and pure joy of playing together – qualities that define great rock music. This approach, which focuses on raw and spontaneous performance, has become increasingly rare in the modern recording industry.
For Deep Purple fans, ‘Recordings: 2020–2025’ offers a new perspective. For everyone else, it’s a raw, unfiltered introduction to Simon McBride’s remarkable guitar playing and songwriting.
The new album is available now on CD, vinyl, and digital.

FLOW KOBRA ANNOUNCE NEW EP ‘FLY TO THE SKY’
UNVEIL EUPHORIC SINGLE ‘ROLL IT OVER’
Following their widely praised release, ‘GUNDA’, Woolyungah/Wollongong-based trap-metal band Flow Kobra have announced their forthcoming EP ‘FLY TO THE SKY’ – due out Friday, May 30. Alongside this announcement is their next single, ‘ROLL IT OVER’ – produced and mixed by Jacob Wilkes
‘ROLL IT OVER’ is a cathartic explosion of nostalgic nu-metal, led by the invigorating delivery of lead vocalist Kobe Stimson. The track opens with the band’s trademark amalgamation of visceral, thudding bass lines and chunking guitar leads as it builds into grand, singalong choruses. The band show versatility through a reserved, sombre bridge before launching into a thrashing finale with reckless abandon.
Kobe explains the inspiration behind ‘ROLL IT OVER’:
“‘ROLL IT OVER’ marks a new chapter for us, leaving behind the dark grittiness of ‘CRINGE CLIQUE’ for a more uplifting and euphoric journey. The track embodies the resilience of making it through life’s storms to reach a blissful state, embracing hope and transformation.”
Following this release, the band will perform mini-festivals Gongcore and Darkside Fest in their hometown of Woolyungah/Wollongong, with the latter featuring luminaries Windwaker, Alienist, Sienna Skies and Heists, among others. This continues on from playing Lutruwita/Tasmania’s Party In The Paddock this year alongside Empire Of The Sun and Amyl and the Sniffers, and playing multiple hometown headline shows.
Last year, Flow Kobra released their debut album ‘CRINGE CLIQUE’, following on from their debut EP, ‘TRUE COLOURS TURN BLACK’ in 2022. Taking cues from luminaries Ocean Grove, Limp Bizkit and Incubus, Flow Kobra creates a unique blend of hardcore, metal, punk and trap that lyrically centres around personally dark experiences while aiming not to take themselves too seriously. Kobe adds, “Some of the lyrical content is about dark topics, but for the most part, we don’t want to take ourselves too seriously. There are so many inside jokes within the band now that we need to start making content and bringing our audience in on the memes.”
‘ROLL IT OVER’ is available worldwide now

MATT MALTESE shares new single ‘PINED FOR YOU MY WHOLE LIFE’
Announces UK, EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICAN TOUR FOR YOU MY WHOLE LIFE 2025 headline live dates including London’s Roundhouse and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre
NEW ALBUM HERS out Friday 16th May
Singer songwriter Matt Maltese today shares ‘Pined For You My Whole Life’, the third single from his forthcoming new album Hers, set for release on Friday 16th May via The Orchard. ‘Pined For You My Whole Life’ is another taste of the heartache and honesty embodied in Maltese’s new record, as displayed thus far in lead singles ‘Anytime, Anyplace, Anyhow’ and ‘Always Some MF’.
Matt shares “Potentially the most amount of yearning I’ve done in a song. Which is saying something. Musically the song was a true joy to make, and is heavily inspired by all the Motown and soul I was grown up with. I’m not ashamed to say I get a lot of joy out of writing boldly pathetic declarations of love through the veil of American-leaning soul music.”
LISTEN TO ‘PINED FOR YOU MY WHOLE LIFE’
Matt has also announced his Tour For You My Whole Life 2025 run in support of the release of Hers, playing the biggest venues of his career across North America, UK and Europe from September through to December 2025. The 46-date tour commences in Nashville, stopping by major venues including Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and London’s Roundhouse, before concluding his European run in Barcelona in mid-December. Full list of dates below, tickets are on sale from 10am local time on Friday 21st March and available via matt-maltese.com.
Matt Maltese’s sixth studio album Hers arrives as his most insular and intimate to date, and his first fully self-produced effort since second album Krystal. Hers exists in a twilight world, pairing heartfelt songwriting and dry witticism with the gentle quiver of strings, a flourish of woodwind or the sound of a creaking old piano.
Though its wounds may still feel tender to the touch, Maltese made Hers with several years’ perspective on the events that inspired it, processing the complexities of a serious romantic relationship and its ending through the rearview. “I’ve written a lot of music that comes from a place of infatuation, but this record was written on reflection of a much longer-term love. The complications and wonderful roads that that goes through and the more informed heartaches that come out of it. I got to really reflect and slave over it… It’s a bit like having a year to write a really important email,” he says.
“I’m British enough to feel a slight shame of writing so many love songs in the past,” he adds. “Maybe the more interesting thing on paper would have been to go to the other side of the world and write a concept album about prehistoric creatures or something, but at the end of the day, we’re all human, and love and people are things we’re all continually affected by. It’s my job as a songwriter to excavate the things in my life, and that’s what I was going through.”
‘Pined For You My Whole Life’ is out Wednesday March 19th
Hers is out Friday May 16th

SOULFUL POP R&B ARTIST STEFANIE MICHAELA DROPS CAPTIVATING NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR HER LATEST SINGLE – “FOUND IN YOU”
Soulful Pop R&B artist Stefanie Michaela unveils the highly anticipated music video for her emotional single, “Found in You.” Filmed at the iconic Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee, the video captures the raw beauty and vulnerability behind the song’s heartfelt message of love and resilience. The video was expertly directed and filmed by the talented Melissa Core and Rick Caballo.
In the music video, Stefanie shines in a stunning long blue dress, a visual representation of the song’s elegance and emotional depth. The striking imagery, paired with the breathtaking location, highlights the song’s theme of love found in the strength and unwavering connection between two people.
“Found in You,” co-written and produced by the legendary Keith Thomas (Whitney Houston, Amy Grant, Jessica Simpson) marked Stefanie’s long-awaited return to music after a pause to raise her five children. The song draws inspiration from the enduring love Stefanie shares with her husband and the powerful foundation they have built together. The song’s message resonates deeply with Stefanie’s journey, reminding listeners of the importance of love, resilience, and the power of never giving up.
Stefanie shared, “Working on ‘Found in You’ felt like coming home. The support of my family, especially my children, who have become my greatest muse, pushed me to pursue my passion for music once again. This video captures the essence of that love, and I hope it speaks to everyone who has ever experienced a deep connection with someone special.”
The release of the video for “Found in You” comes on the heels of the single’s release earlier this Valentine’s Day. Stefanie’s comeback story is one of strength and passion, driven by the unwavering encouragement from her children, who have become her biggest supporters. With this return to music, Stefanie aims to show her children—and the world—that it’s never too late to follow your dreams and turn the pages of your own story.
A portion of Stefanie’s streaming revenue for “Found in You” will be donated to the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter, in response to the ongoing fires in Los Angeles. Stefanie is committed to giving back to those in need, including supporting the shelter’s efforts to care for and rehome animals affected by the fires.
Stefanie’s upcoming EP Turning Pages is set to release later this year, marking the next chapter in her musical journey. The EP will feature a collection of heartfelt songs that reflect her personal evolution and invite listeners to connect deeply with their own stories.

PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS “Glib Tongued” (Single/Video)
New Album Death Hilarious out April 4
Newcastle (UK) riff wizards Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs (or just Pigs X7), who toured Australia for the first time in late 2023 for an appearance at the Meredith Festival, a run of shows The Mark Of Cain and more, have released the official video for “Glib Tongued (feat. El-P)”, the third song to be released from their forthcoming fifth studio album Death Hilarious which will be released on April 4 on Rocket Recordings. “Glib Tongued” features influential American underground rapper and producer and member of hip-hop superduo Run The Jewels, El-P.
Bassist John-Michael Hedley says: “‘Glib Tongued’ was an idea I’d been sitting on for a few years. It felt like the right time to inject it into Death Hilarious. Though after bringing it to the table it morphed into something bigger and better than I could have ever imagined. Securing El-P’s services for a verse blew my mind and I feel immensely proud that an idea I’d worked on during an extremely dark time in my life, has flourished into a powerful force for good. I hope.”
Frontman Matt Baty adds: “My lyrics reflect on how fondness of the past and senses of nostalgia can affect and influence the present, and especially in a political sense, not for the better. This notion of working towards ‘getting things back to how they used to be,’ feels very backwards. The ‘good old days’ never existed.”
He adds: “Having El-P collaborate with us on this track was absolutely mind blowing. Word class lyricist. No smoke and mirrors, sees and tells it exactly the way it is.“

“Glib Tongued” follows the release of the “righteous horns-up riff-beast” (Stereogum) “Stitches” and the “five-plus-minute crusher” (Consequence) “Detroit” that was released in November. The songs have been praised by BrooklynVegan, Glide Magazine, Metal Injection, Metal Sucks, The Needle Drop, New Noise Magazine, Stereogum, Vanyaland, Consequence and many more.
Last year, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs released a Record Store Day exclusive vinyl release of their explosive KEXP session, which has surpassed one million views on YouTube. Death Hilarious follows their breakthrough fourth studio album Land of Sleeper which was acclaimed by Pitchfork, Bandcamp Daily, Consequence of Sound, The Quietus, DIY Magazine, AllMusic and many more. In their 4 star review, The Guardian proclaimed, “their Black Sabbath-esque doom riffs make them accessible to anyone who has overlooked the past few decades worth of hard rock history… it’s undeniable that the band’s fourth album Land of Sleeper will keep listeners entrenched in their heady cosmos.”
The new album – the band’s fifth studio album – is defined by calculated aggression and self-lacerating lyrics. Its startling bonuses include playful synth work and the appearance of a giant from hip-hop. With its title juxtaposing absurdity and seriousness, this is Death Hilarious.
The album’s previous single, the stomping “Stitches” – which has been described as like Motörhead trying to perform glam rock with a tipsy keyboardist – has been given a full add on the BBC Radio 6 Music playlist.
“From the moment the band hits the stage, the crowd is thrust into a cacophonous realm where thunderous music collides with an undercurrent of wry humour, reminiscent of a psychedelic circus orchestrated by the most demented of ringmasters, lead singer Matthew Baty.” – Under the Radar

CIVIC Announce New Album – Chrome Dipped – title track and video out now
CIVIC have today announced the May 30 release of their third album, Chrome Dipped, via ATO Records. In addition, the first taste of this new sound arrives via the self-titled lead single “Chrome Dipped”. The track blends gritty, swaggering riffs with a driving relentless energy and the band share, “’Chrome Dipped’ is about finding human emotion and a world that’s hurling towards complete reliance on the machine.”

Willing to break free from the raw, distinctly Australian punk rock blueprint of Future Forecast (2021) and Taken By Force (2023) — an album praised by Mojo with four stars and hailed by NME as “a blunt, muscly rock record that’s constantly on edge” — CIVIC push themselves into fresh creative territory with Chrome Dipped. Marking a bold shift from their signature sound, the LP finds the band exploring new sonic territory while maintaining their sharp intensity.
“We’d been pushing a sort of ’70s Australian punk sound with our first two records, but I think we wanted to take it in a different direction,” says guitarist Lewis Hodgson. “I think it was all starting to feel a bit stale.”
“We didn’t really know what we were going to make but we went into it very open for change,” adds vocalist Jim McCullough.
In support of Chrome Dipped CIVIC will embark on a North American tour commencing in May. Next month they are the support for the Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter on a tour of Australia and this summer they head to The UK and Europe. Tickets are on-sale here and all dates are listed below.
To guide CIVIC– which is completed by bassist Roland Hlavka and drummer Eli Sthapit – to these new sonic pastures the band tapped Australian singer-songwriter Kirin J. Callinan to produce the record, and legendary musician and producer Chris Townend to engineer. It was Callinan’s idea to spend a week recording at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania, a far cry from the outback house in which CIVIC laid down Taken By Force. “We’ve always done our records DIY,” says McCullough. “This time we wanted to step up and make it sound as big as we could.”
The end result is the work of a band expanding their boundaries. “We kind of stuck to the rules a little bit earlier on like, do Australian punk rock properly and all that,” says Hodgson. “But after touring around the world and seeing what all these other bands are up to it’s like, you can really do whatever the fuck you want. And so it’s fun to just kind of let go.” He continues, “I hope people feel a little confused at first. Then a bit angry, and then feel good, and then interested, and then they feel like, ‘Oh, this is sick.’ That process exactly. I hope it’s a bit challenging.”

ENVY OF NONE ‘The Story’ (Single/Video)
Ahead of the release of their new album Stygian Wavz (March 28, Kscope), American/Canadian fourpiece Envy Of None have shared a brand-new single. The second track from the new album, ‘The Story’ holds a special place in each of the band member’s hearts and is brought to life with a stunning new video by Jaden D.
Speaking about the new single and inspiration behind the video, songwriter and vocalist Maiah Wynne shared “I wrote about wanting to be better, to grow, and the sense of desperation that comes with that desire. To me, the song is about the struggle of not being able to break bad cycles. I had been stuck for a very long time and was trying to be better. I think it’s a theme a lot of people can connect with in some way. Whether it’s habits, addiction, self-sabotage, or just unhealthy patterns, we all are trapped by something we are trying to break away from. If I had the power to write my own story, I’d want to be the hero, but so often I am my own villain.”
Envy Of None announced their new album back in January and have so far shared 3 standout singles, ‘Not Dead Yet’, ‘Under The Stars’ and ‘Stygian Waves’.
To promote the album, the band recently appeared on Talk Shop Live in the US with host Steve Harkins to discuss the creation of Stygian Wavz, the writing and recording process and plans for the future.

Though they’d never describe themselves as such, Envy Of None are the living, breathing definition of a supergroup. No other band on earth could rightly claim to have Alex Lifeson – one of rock’s most influential visionaries – heading up guitar duties, with Andy Curran of Coney Hatch and Soho 69 overseeing bass/programming as well as producer extraordinaire Alfio Annibalini on keyboards. However, the star in this band could very well be its youngest member – American singer-songwriter Maiah Wynne – whose wonderfully emotive vocals are able to spin the music in new exciting directions that thrill to the core.
On their self-titled debut of 2022, the group were able to prove that they were a lot more than the sum of their parts, with an abundance of panache and finesse poured into a contemporary alt rock sound that was hard to predict and even harder to categorise. This year’s sophomore release, Stygian Wavz, is the sound of a band basking in the radiant glow of creative confidence and coming into their own, staggering the listener with every twist and turn encased within their heady mix of genre-splicing brilliance.
Envy Of None’s new album Stygian Wavz is set for release on March 28, 2025

THE MOVING STILLS ‘Running Out’ (Single)
Fresh off the success of ‘Telephone’, which became triple j’s most-played song, The Moving Stills are back with their latest single, ‘Running Out’. Known for their infectious blend of alt-indie pop, the Central Coast (Darkinjung Country) band continue to deliver danceable grooves layered with heartfelt storytelling.
‘Running Out’ captures the feeling of emotional overload, the push and pull of wanting to share your struggles while fearing you might be asking too much of someone else. The track balances upbeat energy with emotional weight, creating an addictive listen that feels both melancholic and uplifting.
“It’s an exciting new sound for us,” the band shares. “We love the contrast of its driving rhythm with its deeper emotional meaning, it’s going to be a huge one to play live.”
Since forming, The Moving Stills have steadily built a reputation for crafting nostalgic, melody-driven indie anthems. Their second album, ‘Wabi Sabi’, released in November 2023, was a defining moment, landing Feature Album on triple j and earning full rotation on all singles. The album also landed in the ARIA Top 20 Vinyls of the Week (#2) and Top 10 Australian Albums (#6).
Their momentum skyrocketed with ‘Telephone’, which dominated triple j airwaves and landed on key Spotify and Apple Music playlists, including New Music Fridays AU & NZ, Front Left, Indie Arrivals, and Coast to Coast. The band also landed a cover spot on Amazon’s Down Under Playlist in December 2024.
The Moving Stills have been non-stop on the road, headlining national and regional tours while sharing the stage with artists like Nothing But Thieves and The Rubens. In 2024, they played major festivals including SXSW Sydney, Woodford Folk Festival, and The Great Escape (Tas). Now, they’re gearing up for their biggest tour yet, joining Spacey Jane on their AUS/NZ album tour (April, June & July 2025).
Beyond radio and streaming, their music is making an impact across TV and media, with ‘Westside’ currently synced to a Western Australian Government ad promoting Perth City, and the music video for ‘Telephone’ recently airing on ABC’s Rage.
