VENUE:

The Melbourne Guitar Show will once again celebrate the Melbourne and Australian guitar community on August 1 & 2, 2020. We will assemble an inspiring array of guitar players at the Melbourne Guitar Show.

The Australian Music Association is thrilled to announce the 2019 return of the Melbourne Guitar Show, set to rock Caulfield Racecourse on August 1 and 2 – and I know we say it every year but this year WILL be bigger than ever.

Proudly presented by Triple M and Australian Musician, the lineup will boast an impressive haul of both local and international artists. In addition to world class performances from the artists on this massive lineup, #MGS2020 will also present a massive gear expo that will feature a huge variety of electric and acoustic guitars, effects pedals, amps and more state-of-the-art guitar technology, both home-grown and from around the world. See, Try and Buy! It will continue to be Australia’s biggest guitar pop-up shop, and that’s not all. The Melbourne Guitar Show will host information seminars, demonstrations, and live performances from Australia’s most talented guitarists.

Pleased by advised that the Melbourne Guitar Show is a live music event with 4 stages operating, and on the ground floor the exhibit stands demonstrate amplifiers. We mitigate this to an extent by having 15 minutes of no-noise each hour, but we advise that patrons may find ear plugs necessary, and recommend it for people bringing young children onto the ground floor level.

NOTE: Bringing your own guitar to the Show is not encouraged. There will be no storage facilities provided at the show. Any instrument that is brought will be tagged and you will have to carry it around with you.

–          Where you need to bring something to an exhibitor’s stand for advice
