Only a couple of years into her career, she started producing in 2015. Since then she’s emerged as one of Melbourne’s integral players in the sampling scene, She’s toured North America, Japan & recently the Melbourne Intl’ Jazz Festival. She’s already released two albums, the latest ‘Minutes’ made Bandcamp’s ‘Best Beat Tapes of May’ list.

Chiara is a music composer, producer and DJ born and raised in Torino, Italy and now based in Australia. Her artistic appreciation and blend of music disciplines allow her to produce an eclectic range of musical outcomes.Chiara’s work now ranges across composing and producing music and sound design for film and TV commercials, creating electronic music for live performance, composing soundscapes for immersive environments and art installations, and the experimental use of field recordings with analogue and digital synthesis.

Beatrice is an artist that carries you deep into the textured soundscapes of her cinematic bass music. A vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer, she has an artistic bipolarity and sophistication that weaves itself through every beat, bar and polyrhythm.

She creates compelling and intimate music with a gritty distorted edge that immediately strikes a chord with audiences. Beatrice has recently garnered industry attention with an invitation to attend the inaugural Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal. Here she collaborated with artists such as Suzanne Cianne, Theo Parrish, Just Blaze, Deradoorian (The Dirty Projectors) and Shake It Machine from Switzerland with whom she will be finishing an EP with this year. She recently received two Creative Arts Victoria grants to fund her debut EP “Move toward the Mountain” and release of leading single “Grid” in the coming months. She was also named one of Beat Magazines “DJ and Producers that owned 2017”.

Live on stage Beatrice transforms into a futuristic atmosphere of electronic vocal lushness, deep hip hop, subterranean bass and electrifying break beats. A recent addition to the Operatives roster and a rising performer on the Australian festival circuit she has performed at most major electronic music festivals from Let Them Eat Cake, Splendor in the Grass, The Falls Festival and Rainbow Serpent amongst others, as well as supported such artists as Machine Drum, Eprom, Lapalux, Mark Pritchard, Shigeto, Shades and Fakear amongst others.

For the past eight years Beatrice has been a workshop facilitator and strong advocate for Indigenous woman’s music throughout Australia. She is currently the main producer in Kardajala Kirridarra (Sandhill women) a band featuring songstress Eleanor Dixon, and whose members are from Marlinja and Kulumindini (Elliott) communities in the Northern Territory. Since releasing their debut album last year they have performed at BIGSOUND, Sugar Mountain, MONA FOMA, Golden Plains Festival, won MusicNT’s 2017 Folk Song of the Year, won hhhhappy’s ‘Needle in The Hay’ vinyl competition, and earned ‘Album of the week’ at no less than 9 radio stations, including Double J, RRR and Fbi as well as been featured in press such as Rolling Stone, The Age and Sydney Morning Herald Spectrum.

Beatrice is also a founding member of the eclectic Haiku Hands, an innovative four-piece, female driven outfit, where she cuts loose for bass-heavy, electronic post-punk workouts. Working with some of Australia’s finest writers and produces, such as Hermitude, Joelistics, Jaytee Hazard and Lewis Can Cut, she curates, performs and works in and with a collective of artists to form genre bending songs with influences from hip hop, pop, electronic, dance and disco. They have recently released their debut single ‘Not About You’ which according to Purple Sneakers was “undeniably one of the best Australian debuts of the year” and had heavy rotation on JJJ. Beatrice is also the DJ for Australian rapper Joelistics of TZU fame.

Back in her own studio, a space filled with vintage synths and samplers, stringed instruments and a myriad of curiosities, it’s a rich bed to create the many electronic music incarnations that will see her “Move toward the Mountain” EP premier release this year.

Melbourne local ACM is known for his inspired all hardware, live techno performances. Often playing with an element of improvisation. ACM keeps each set unique and in the moment. ACM crafted his musical palette through his residences as a DJ playing house and techno at some of Melbourne’s most prominent night spots. A respected artist in the Melbourne scene for his experimental nature.

Amelia Arsenic is a musician and fashion designer born in Sydney but now travelling the world.Her latest music adventure is a debut solo project which I decided to embark upon after touring as a musician and DJ throughout Europe and the USA since 2007. The sounds of Amelia Arsenic are described as an infectious injection of high-energy beats infused with feminine allure. Her music as a genesis of fresh electronic sounds drawing from hip hop, electro and industrial music.

The Oddness is the new project of Melbourne producer and head of Smash Bang Records, Fergus. The sound of oddness is the culmination of years of varying tastes and production styles, taking influence from Downtown electronica Dub and World music and blending these influences into the longer slow burning structures of deep progressive house. The Oddness has performed at various premium festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Let The Eat Cake and Babylon.

Emah Fox is a musician and producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Her dark brand of synth pop pits urgent beats and ominous synths against sweet polyrhythmic melody. The intricate production satellites around lucid vocals which shift from restrained intensity to epic and soaring. Ehsan Gelsi has spent the last 20 years immersed in the world of synthesizers, as a performer, educator and specialist. Crossing genres from techno and experimental to hip hop and electronica, Ehsan’s musical scope is super diverse and has made him a valuable addition to many projects – having toured the world and Australia several times. Ehsan has performed alongside Snoop Dogg, Pendulum, Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia and many other global acts, and has performed at Glastonbury, Big Day Out and numerous festivals.

Sergio Selim is a music producer, writer, performer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and all around musician who spends his time between his hometown of Sydney and Los Angeles. His musical journey began at the young age of 4 when he discovered the piano and classically studied the instrument well into his teens. He has frequented on the live music scene in Australia for years and is one of the most sought after acts on the scene. As a producer, Sergio has worked with some of the music industries most elite artists and producers, while at the same time working on his own solo projects. Sergio’s album ‘VERSION’ is his most recent release. With Synths and Keytars being his usual weapons of choice, Sergio delivers hybrid performances with an instrument he is most known for mastering; The Talk Box

David Haberfeld is an accomplished and awarded music professional with over twenty years of diverse experience as an electronic dance music artist, producer, composer, performer, DJ, promoter, academic and educator. His work as an energetic and colourful live electronic act Honeysmack has earned him rare respect on the Australian live rock and dance music circuits. He exhibits a deep understanding of pop, funk, disco, punk, rock and contemporary electronic music styles. He is a multidisciplinary artist with expertise and experiences across media arts.
