Kings of Leon, the American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, have continued to build on their long career with new music and live performances. Known for hits such as “Sex on Fire,” “Use Somebody” and “Closer,” the band, made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill, released their ninth studio album, Can We Please Have Fun, in May 2024. The album marked a return to a more spontaneous, guitar-driven sound and included singles such as “Mustang” and “Nothing to Do.” Following the release, the band toured internationally, bringing their energetic live performances to audiences around the world.
Their latest activity in 2026 has seen the band announce their tenth studio album, O My Beloved, scheduled for release on 6 November 2026. The record represents a more personal and reflective direction, drawing on acoustic sounds, family relationships and childhood memories. They have released three singles from the album: “My Whole World,” “Cold Blue Dawn” and “KOYSAR,” the last of which came out in October. The band has also continued performing live, with shows across the United States and Europe, and has announced further international dates for 2027, including concerts in London and an appearance at New Zealand’s Electric Avenue festival, and newly announced Australia and New Zealand.
