Jacobs Run is Michael Jacobs (vocals/guitar), Peter Curigliano (bass/vocals), and Fabian Bucci (drums/vocals). As their biography states, “Jacobs Run isn’t your typical wet-behind-the-ears indie debut act. The three members – have been playing in various bands around Melbourne for quite a few years. In fact they’ve been in several previous bands together and it was only when one of those earlier bands folded that Jacobs Run was born.”
And now in 2019 the band has released its debut self-titled album, an epic recording full of quality songs, immaculately produced and played passionately by seasoned and skilled musicians. Oddly enough, it took the production team at Wick Studios in Brunswick to convince the guys that collectively they possessed something special which needed to be mined and most importantly, recorded!
Australian Musician’s Greg Phillips sat down with Jacobs Run’s main man, singer, songwriter Michael Jacobs to discuss the story behind the band, the creation of the album and we check out Michael’s awesome guitar collection as well.
