He’s the former frontman of multi-platinum-selling band, Noiseworks. He also fronted INXS after the death of Michael Hutchence and spent time singing with international act, Dead Daisies. However Jon Stevens has been a successful solo artist longer than any time he spent with those projects and on Friday March 31, he releases Starlight, yet another solo album.
On Starlight, Jon Stevens joins forces with legendary musician, songwriter and producer Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, who co-wrote and produced the album. Ringo Starr plays drums on the lonely ballad ‘One Way Street’ and ‘Something Bout You’ features the vocals of Vanessa Amorosi. Richie Sambora and Orianthi also add guitar licks to the album.
Australian Musician editor Greg Phillips sat down with Jon Stevens to discuss in detail the creation of Starlight.
