Like many other bands, the Covid-19 outbreak has haulted the momentum of many Australian bands who were making significant progress into markets overseas. Caravana Sun is one of those bands. Off the back of their massive signing deal with Berlin’s Embassy Of Music and news of appearances alongside the likes of Kings of Leon and Mura Masa at Boardmasters UK, Australian indie outfit Caravãna Sun are having to wait out the lockdown with the hope of continuing their path forward when this is all over. In the meantime the band has released a new single ‘Charlie, a timely song about connections and establishing relationships with those around us.
Australian Musician’s Greg Phillips checked in with the band’s bass player Ant Beard via a shaky Skype line to see what the band members plan to do during this period of isolation
