MORE ABOUT ‘HONEY, HONEY’
Co-written and Co-produced by Elida Zulu and Andrew Morrison, mixed by Richard Belkner and mastered by Steve Smart ‘Honey Honey’ is set for release on Friday 29 November. An upbeat love song inspired by the magic of the starry nights in Australia, ‘Honey Honey’ is a playful twist on a classic love song, her buttery vocals and lyrics sit amongst catchy beats and smooth saxophone lines, and the track’s rebellious spirit celebrates the joy of falling in love while still embracing a little bit of bad-girl charm.
‘After years of city living in Paris, I was captivated by the vast Australian sky and the love I found beneath it. It’s a nostalgic ode to a simpler time, a time of starry nights and youthful love. Inspired by my move to Sydney, this song captures the thrill of new beginnings and the sweetness of a budding romance.’ – Major Zulu

‘Honey Honey’ Lyrics:
Honey, honey, It’s a mad mad world
I’m going to be a bad girl
Show me lovin’, show me mad, mad love
I want to be your good girl
If you give me starry eyes
Make me, make number one
Give me, give me butterflies
I’ll shine a light I’ll be your good girl
Good girl, good girl, good girl…
Chorus
We can have the stars, the moon and the sky
We can have it all
We can shine a light in a very dark world
We can light it up
Honey, honey don’t you break my heart
You know I only got one
Love me, love me give me real love
You know I won’t be playin’
Give me, give me starry eyes
Make me, make me number one
Give me, give me butterflies
I’ll shine a light I’ll be your good girl
Good girl, good girl, good girl…..
Chorus
We can have the stars, the moon and the sky
We can have it all
We can shine a light in a very dark world
We can light it up
We can have the stars, the moon and the sky
We can have it all
We can shine a light in a very dark world
We can light it up
We can have the stars, the moon and the sky
We can have it all
We can shine a light in a very dark world
We can light it up
We can have the stars, the moon and the sky
We can have it all
