Created as an initiative of the City of Gold Coast’s Music Action Plan, Young Gig Makers aims to give young people on the Gold Coast, aged between 16-20 the skills required to run a fully fledged  music show on their own. The program is basically nurturing the next crop of event managers. sound and production crew, media and promotions teams, MC’s and band bookers.

The first Young Gig Makers program has been under way for a couple of months and the fruits of their hard work will be on show tomorrow night, when the participants will deliver their first show ‘Scream Out’, featuring 4 bands and a solo artist at the Nerang Bicentennial Community Centre at 7pm.
