LA-based singer, songwriter and guitar slinger, Dennis Jones played the Melbourne Guitar Show last weekend and blew everyone away with his smokin’ blues guitar licks. Dennis played his own set on the Saturday with his Melbourne-based band featuring Ben Wicks on bass and Johnny Tesoreiro on drums. He was back on Sunday for the end of show finale jam, playing alongside Mal Eastick, Pete Robinson, Charlie Bedford, Michael Spiby, James Ryan, Kathleen Halloran, Roger McLachlan and Marcus Ryan.
After the guitar show Dennis sat down to speak with Australian Musician editor Greg Phillips.
Dennis plays The Fyrefly, St.Kilda Friday August 9 and the Palais Hepburn, Hepburn Springs on Sunday August 11 in the afternoon before heading home.
