The 2023 John Petrucci JP15 Butterscotch Burl BFR features a unique combination of tonewoods, making it the gem of any guitar collection. The JP15’s highlights start with a richly figured “Butterscotch Burl” buckeye burl top outlined with a thin rosewood veneer and loaded onto a smooth-sounding Black Limba body. The Black Limba body’s backside is adorned with a distinctive, beautiful trans butterscotch satin finish. The neck combines a rosewood fretboard with 24 stainless steel frets. Like most JP15 models, this guitar features DiMarzio Illuminator pickups for the neck and bridge, a 20+ dB gain boost, and a super smooth modern tremolo with Schaller locking tuners for ultimate tuning stability. Each guitar includes a Mono case, a John Petrucci autographed tremolo cavity cover and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
