MORE BIG & UGLY CYMBALS FROM SABIAN

In response to drummers worldwide who asked for more choice from the Big & Ugly collection, SABIAN has just introduced new crash-friendly sizes and hi-hats. Initially launched as big, dark, loose and dynamic cymbals – Big & Ugly was all about sonic versatility, tonal complexity and huge fun.  Now Big & Ugly offers even more versatility, more sounds and way more fun!
Case in point: 18” AA Sick Hats. Thin – and very dry overall – these are very controllable Hats. The 28 holes allow them to breathe in ways other Hats simply cannot – with virtually no airlock, you hear everything. Prefer more body, less air in your face, and the ability to play patterns without holes getting in your way? Simply flip ‘em over hole-side down!
More Big & Ugly also includes 14” and 16” AA Apollo hats, and smartly priced 14” XSR Monarch Hats – great news for drummers who have already incorporated Big & Ugly models into their set-up and want to add the articulation, control and super fat sound the new hats deliver. Big & Ugly crash-friendly sizes include 18” and 20” AA Apollo and 18” and 20” XSR Monarch.

In these 3 demo videos, Australian drum great Virgil Donati puts the new Big & Ugly cymbals through their paces.
