NAMM 2016: YAMAHA MONTAGE

At NAMM this year Yamaha has revealed it’s new flagship synthesiser, the Montage. It utilises Yamaha’s AWM2 waveform-based subtractive synthesis engine (as used in the Motif) but with with a new kind of synthesis called  FM-X, offering 8 operators, 32 algorithms and 7 Spectral Forms. The Montage features an incredible user-friendly touch screen, a super knob to control multiple parameters, and motion sequence to edit individual  steps of your sequences.
