Known more now as the backing band for the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Philadelphia’s hip hop/neo soul band The Roots have been playing their funky brand of rhythms together for over two decades. Formed in 1987 by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter and Ahmir “Questlove”, the band hasn’t delivered a studio album since “.. And Then You Shoot Your Cousin” back in May 2014. However, maybe that’s about to change, as the guys called in to visit the guys at Roland America to check out the AIRA range of gear.
