If you’re heading to the Melbourne Guitar Show on August 3 &4 (and why wouldn’t you?) check out the range of Duesenberg Guitars available on the Cranbourne Music stand. Duesenberg is best known for its eye-catching guitar finishes – Outlaw, Stardust, various Sparkle and Pearl versions and many more are one of the trademarks of the Hannover-based manufacturer. The striking Catalina colours play a prominent role in Duesenberg’s colour schemes – noble and timeless metallic finishes with classy automotive Retro & Rock´n Roll vibe from way back then.
The Starplayer III, the sleek sister of the Starplayer TV and so far available in black, makes visually impressive statements in its new colours Catalina Blue and Catalina Red!

To complement the exterior, it has great inner values to offer: It is a typical semi-acoustic guitar in classic rim construction, which differs from its big sister only by its flat top and flat back. Hardware, wiring and the classic Duesenberg pickup configuration with Domino P90 on the neck and GrandVintage humbucker on the bridge are identical to the Starplayer TV and deliver not only strong character P90 and earthy humbucker sounds, but also a great sonic variety, which allows the guitar to be used in all musical genres. The tonal performance is perfectly enhanced by a tuning-stable tremolo Diamond Deluxe Tremola in combination with the own “free floating” Steel Saddle Bridge.
