VASE AMPS ARE BACK AND AT THE GUITAR SHOW!

vaseamp

Back in the early 60s, the rock and roll industry was in its infancy. Some of the world’s legendary guitarists were just starting to make an impact as the British Rock invasion hit the world. While amplifier brands like Marshall and Fender were making a name for themselves overseas, at home in Australia a few local companies dared to play the game too. Founded by Tony Troughton in the 6os the Australian amp brand VASE was being used by local acts such as Daddy Cool with great success.

VASE (Victory Audiophonic Sound Equipment) has recently been resurrected as a boutique manufacturer of high quality guitar and bass amplifiers out of Brisbane, carrying on Tony Troughton’s tradition.

VASE will be showcasing its full range of guitar and bass amplifiers along with a selection of their matching cabinets at their booth at the Melbourne Guitar Show.

With the launch of its Tonesetter 18 range this year, they will be offering special introductory prices for orders placed during the Melbourne Guitar Show. Come down and plug your favourite guitar in and hear what what people are raving about.

Also on display will be the new Trendsetter 60 Overdrive which has been designed to compliment the classic Trendsetter 60 Deluxe by adding a gain stage to the second channel. This truly opens up the tonal possibilities of an already fantastic sounding 100% hand built boutique amplifier.

They will also be previewing a new Bass Combo called the Dynabass 200. This single 15″ 200 Watt combo is something to be heard. Bass players come down and plug in and feel the bass!

Throughout the show VASE will have some special guests on the stand demonstrating the features and tones of the amps. This includes Tim Gaze, Simon Hosford and Butch Bellert to name a few.
