Charlie Bedford performs in Nick Charles’ international Blues day jam on Saturday August 3 at 4.15pm on the Marsh Mezzanine Stage
Charlie Bedford is a teenage blues musician who performed at the “International Blues Challenge – Youth Showcase” in Memphis in 2017 with his band and returned as a solo artist in 2018 and 2019, representing the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society – MBAS.
He has played with and been mentored by some of the biggest names in Australian Blues. Those who attended the 2015 Melbourne Guitar Show will fondly remember Charlie’s appearance with headliner Lloyd Spiegel. Last year Charlie joined the Triple M all star jam alongside guitar greats such as Jack Jones, Brett Garsed, Shannon Bourne and James Ryan.
Charlie has just released his debut solo album 9,500 Miles to Memphis.
