Two lovely new African Mahogany Masterworks grace our lineup in 2022 – stunning, nderstated and all-solid instruments focused on tone and elegance that sound every bit as good as they look.
FS6 bracing gives these instruments more openness than one might expect from Mahogany, but the warmth and infectious middle requencies are still there. The trebles are very round, and the bass is present and clear. Their response is instant and you get a real sense of engagement from both guitars. As expected, the Dreadnought delivers a slightly more powerful response with more air volume and stronger bass frequencies.
The GA offers a little more clarity across all six strings and shimmering trebles.
Both models are cutaways and fitted with the wonderful PR Baggs VTC system with endpin pre-amp and soundhole console. Whether you’re at home, in the studio or on the stage, these guitars will deliver an unfailing, professional performance and impressive tonal delivery.

Shadowburst Dreadnought and Grand Auditorium Acoustic Electric
The perfect pair: good-looking, articulate and vocal. These two new Masterworks models tick all the boxes in looks and voicing with an elegant vibe and a wonderfully open projection. AAA Sitka with a flawless Shadowburst finish looks perfect against the mahogany sides and ivory binding. Tonally they have a broad palette, strong bass notes and glistening trebles, and those lovely strong mids from the solid mahogany back and sides.
They are made with our FS6 bracing design which allows the Sitka to be super responsive, so the guitars react very well to the lightest touch. For those times you need to dig in, the premium North American spruce has loads of headroom and volume is abundant. Both models are cutaways and fitted with the wonderful LR Baggs VTC ystem with endpin pre-amp and soundhole console. Whether you’re at home, in the studio or on the stage, these guitars will deliver an unfailing, professional performance and impressive tonal delivery.

Little Jumbo Armrest Acoustic Electric
This is a beautiful small-bodied guitar with a Shadowburst AA Solid Western Red Cedar soundboard and Macassar Ebony back and sides, with Macassar Ebony binding and bevel armrest. No doubt one of the most beautiful travel guitars we have seen, but again, these diminutive instruments are no longer just for travel.
The LJE95 also sounds fantastic, with more volume and body to its tone than you would expect. The voicing is achieved through a modified FS6 bracing pattern and some light graduating of the top to enhance vibration. The tone is slightly darker than its Sitka/Pau Ferro cousin, but still instantly responsive. You can play any style of music on this guitar, but it really shines with a lighter approach or fingerstyle. Another great feature is that the fretting does not feel tight on space for a small guitar, with a full-size nut width at 1.75”.
This first-class LJ is also fitted with a pro pickup system for those who wish to use a smaller guitar on stage. The LR Baggs VTC with element pickup has an end pin mounted pe-amp and soundhole console for tone and volume and sounds superb. It ships with our AGB-15 Deluxe gig bag, so you are ready to roll!

This LJ looks incredible with a Shadowburst AA solid North American Sitka spruce soundboard and Pau Ferro back and sides, with Macassar Ebony binding and bevel armrest – quite possibly one of the poshest travel guitars we have ever seen. It also sounds great, with more volume and body to its tone than you would expect from its diminutive size.

Left Hand Dreadnought and Grand Auditorium Acoustic Electric
Offering more shapes in left-handed versions, and now acoustic electric models too.
Artist Series accommodates the left-handed players amongst us and will continue to
do so. This Dreadnought and Grand Auditorium, like all our left-handed guitars, are made as left-handed models from the outset of their journey – meaning we have not simply changed the bridge and pickguard.
We build the guitars with left-handed bracing too, so they sound and respond exactly how they have been designed and comparative to our right-handed versions. It’s an extra step which not all take but must be done. Our left-handed guitars are also the same price as our right-handed guitars – we never charge more for a Southpaw!
