Sacred Heart Mission has announced a dazzling line-up for its annual fundraiser, The Heart of St Kilda Concert at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda, on August 13th.
Now in its seventh year, this highlight of the Melbourne live music and comedy calendar draws Australia’s finest and this year is no exception, with RocKwiz co- presenter, Brian Nankervis as the MC. Musicians performing on the night will be: The Basics: Featuring Wally De Backer (aka Gotye) Kris Schroeder and Tim Heath, Colleen Hewett, Vika and Linda Bull, Dick Diver, Ash Naylor, Uncle Jack Charles, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Phil Ceberano, Billy Miller, Rebecca Barnard, Tim Rogers, backed by the 100 piece The Caravan Choir. Plus there will be a bunch of comedians doing their shtick too, including; Julia Morris, Charles Pickering, Greg Champion, Tegan Higginbotham, Dean Atkinson and Tripod.
The Heart of St Kilda concert raises funds for Sacred Heart Mission’s dining hall which serves about 30,000 breakfasts and lunches each year to people experiencing homelessness.
