Ernie Ball Music Man named their Ball Family Reserve series in celebration of the company’s rich heritage in instrument craftsmanship. Offered in limited production runs, the Ball Family Reserve collection allows Ernie Ball Music Man to present instruments to the public that were previously reserved for family and artists. This month’s offering features the Majesty guitar in Gremlin Sparkle, the StingRay guitar in Brilliant Blue, and the Cutlass SSS guitar in Scarlet Red.
THE MAJESTY IN GREMLIN SPARKLE
This Ball Family Reserve Majesty offers a striking Gremlin Sparkle finish covering the entire body, headstock, and back of the neck. Featuring all black hardware including the bridge, knobs, tuners, switches, pole pieces and backplates, with a tremolo cover hand-signed by John Petrucci. The omission of the first position Majesty inlay and the rest of the position fret markers gives this guitar a streamlined aesthetic. Limited to 89 pieces worldwide.
THE STINGRAY IN BRILLIANT BLUE
This Ball Family Reserve StingRay guitar features a lightweight okoume body with a custom Brilliant Blue sparkle finish. Offering a roasted figured maple neck with an ebony fretboard which is accented with pearlescent white block position markers. The overall aesthetic package is enhanced with black hardware, a black pickgaurd, and chrome pickup covers. Limited to 52 pieces worldwide.
THE CUTLASS IN SCARLET RED
This Ball Family Reserve Cutlass SSS guitar features a lightweight alder body in a Scarlet Red polyester finish and comes with a matching painted headstock. Offering a smooth satin finished figured roasted maple neck with a maple fretboard which is accented with larger white position markers and hand-fitted white binding. Limited to 51 pieces worldwide.
