The Blues Music Victoria Hall of Fame event took place last night at St.Kilda’s Memo Music Hall, where local blues legends Phil Manning and Geoff Achison were honoured. Phil Manning was voted people’s choice Victorian Blues Legend 2020 and was presented the award by Kelly Auty. Geoff Achison was inducted into the Blues Music Victoria Hall of Fame by Lloyd Spiegel (fresh from his win at the Music Victoria Awards this week, where Lloyd won Best Blues Album for Cut and Run).
Melbourne Guitar Show favourite Charlie Bedford (who was also a nominee at this week’s Music Victoria Awards) was introduced as the Blues Music Victoria Youth Ambassador and played a few ripping songs.

Blues Music Victoria Inc. is a peak industry body representing blues clubs, venues, festivals, media, industry services and suppliers in Victoria, Australia. Membership is also open to interested individual supporters.
