Dave Graney and Clare Moore prepare for their milestone 100th livestream this week and on October 1st release their new album Everything Was Funny, with all instruments played by the pair.
We’ve said it before and nothing much has changed … Dave Graney and Clare Moore are two of the hardest working musicians in Australia. Even a global pandemic has not stopped the pair from presenting their music to fans across the world. In an amazing milestone, this Thursday evening at 8pm (Syd/Melb time) they perform livestream concert number #100.
Featuring drums, guitars, vibes, keys, vocals and other instruments when needed from their studio, every Thursday night 8pm AEST and every second Sunday morning an 8am show to make it Saturday afternoon and evening in the USA and UK/Europe, Dave and Clare perform via the StageIt platform. Each show is unique and happens in the moment – no chance of watching it back. A small fee to access the site, A 50 minute set. Purchase tickets to show #100 HERE
On StageIt, artists perform live, online shows from their laptop that are never recorded or archived. Every StageIt show is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that’s not to be missed. Fans are encouraged to ask the artist questions, request songs, and even chat with other fans during the show. StageIt enables fans to support artists. Whether you’re helping an artist finance their next album or contributing to the performer’s favourite charity, StageIt artists actually get paid for their time.
New album Everything Was Funny out October 1st
In between livestreams, Dave and Clare have been recording. They had planned two albums for 2021, a rock album with their band the mistLY but that couldn’t happen due to covid restrictions and then something like this new one, which they could do on their own – EVERYTHING WAS FUNNY – something more unbuttoned and freaky. The album includes 13 tracks with two being fabulous instrumentals.
Everything Was Funny features Dave Graney on vocals, electric, acoustic guitars, bass, autoharp, and Clare Moore, on drums, vibes, bass xylophone, percussion, keys, and backing vocals and is released on October 1st.
