FAT FREDDY’S DROP FOR MELB INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FEST BIG SATURDAY

There’s only 28-days until the 2022 MIJF program is revealed in all its in-person, Grammy-fuelled, club-soaked glory. Right now however, they’re selling the biggest festival ticket in town at an ‘early bird’ price for a very limited time. That’s over six-hours of entertainment—from the likes of Fat Freddy’s Drop to The Bamboos—for less than $90.

A REALLY BIG SATURDAY
The biggest gig in Jazz Festival history, Fat Freddy’s Drop are set to spearhead a sensational six-hour session at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for our inaugural Big Saturday on 15 October.

Headlining the Bowl with a rapturous two-hour set, the world-renowned New Zealand seven-piece will return to Australia for a Festival exclusive. Alongside the trans-Tasman collective, Big Saturday will bring together some of the biggest names in Australian music including The Bamboos, Emma Donovan & the Putbacks, and Harry James Angus for a sun-drenched, day-long celebration of jazz, funk, gospel and soul.

EARLY BIRD TICKET PRICE
With over 5,000 tickets already sold, these tickets will sell out. Ahead of the full Festival program being announced on 11 August, we’re offering early bird tickets at $89.90 before prices go up next month.
