FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS, the iconic multi-genre band know for their electric fusion of rock, hip-hop and jazz, have announced a worldwide tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 2nd album 100% COLOMBIAN, following sell-out shows in UK and Europe.
The Australian tour will kick-off in Wollongong Feb 14, followed by Sydney Feb 15, Brisbane Feb 16, Gold Coast Feb 17, Canberra Feb 21, Melbourne Feb 22, Adelaide Feb 23 and Perth Feb 24
Fans can expect an electrifying live experience, infused with the band’s trademark blend of rock ‘n’ roll swagger, hip-hop grooves and soulful melodies that have captivated audiences for more than two decades.
Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser, Frank Benbini and Naim Cortazzi will perform the album in its entirety, along with the band’s hits from their extensive discography.
Since the release of 100% Colombian, which spawned the hits Big Night Out, Love Unlimited and Korean Bodega, the album has become a fan favourite and its release marked a pivotal moment in the band’s career
The New Yorkers cemented their place in music history by blending their signature genre-bending rock and hip-hop sound with the smooth grooves, deft wordplay about life in New York and an unmistakable charm that resonated with audiences around the world.
Lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser said “It will be and honour to perform the songs from 100% Colombian to our fans. This album holds a special place in their hearts and we are committed to delivering unforgettable performances while bringing a fresh energy to the stage.”
