Just under a decade ago, Ohad Rein aka Old Man River was enjoying a run of hits such as Trousers, La and You’re On My Mind on high rotation with Triple J. Ohad spent the best part of another decade then travelling and concentrating on family, as well as making music but in other parts of the world. On June 15th Old Man River returned with a new album ILOVEYOUSORRYPLEASEFORGIVEMETHANKYOU and a small run of selected live dates. Jason Rosewarne caught all of the action Ohad’s Melbourne gig on the weekend at the fabulous new venue The Fyrefly, which resides in the basement of the Newmarket Hotel in St Kilda.
