GIBSON TO CELEBRATE MASSIVE EXPANSION OF ACOUSTIC FACILITY THIS WEEK


Gibson, the iconic, American instrument brand will be opening the doors of their Acoustic facility in Montana  on Wednesday March 3rd, for a one-hour groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the announcement of a massive expansion to the facility in Bozeman, MT. The day will be hosted by by Gibson’s James “JC” Curleigh (Gibson, President and CEO), Cesar Gueikian (Gibson, Chief Merchant Officer), Josh Taborski (Gibson General Manager, Bozeman), John Hannigan (Gibson Marketing Manager, Bozeman) and Don Ruffatto (Gibson, Product Development Manager, Bozeman).

The new expansion will effectively double the size of the Gibson Acoustic facility. The 127-year-old brand is also building a Custom Shop in Bozeman that will celebrate the history and legendary quality of Gibson’s handcrafted acoustic guitars created by our skilled artists in Bozeman. Made in Bozeman, MT, Gibson Acoustics are the pinnacle of hand-crafted quality, and sound excellence. Each instrument celebrates Gibson’s legacy through accuracy, authenticity, beauty, and attention to detail.

Gibson is in major investment/expansion mode and prioritizing our acoustic facility and its artisans who create our intricate new acoustic guitar collections. The expansion of the Gibson Acoustic facility will lead to new job opportunities and recruitment of top talent on both the local and national level. We’ll bring you more news after the groundbreaking ceremony later this week.

In other Gibson related news, Hard Rock Hotels has announced plans for development of a new hotel at the historic Gibson guitar and mandolin manufacturing site at 225 Parsons St., which is the founding location of Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co. in 1917, according to a news release from Dora Hotel, a partner in the development.
