Here’s something we thought we’d never be saying. Guy Sebastian captured here on Eurovision TV giving his Eurovision song Tonight Again an acoustic treatment ahead of his historical performance in the contest. (Nice Taylor guitar too!) Guy will be accompanied by a band when he performs in front of 200 million people worldwide during the competition proper. Sebastian was not everyone’s choice to represent Australia at Eurovision. Legendary Australia cult band TISM had quite a bit of support too.
The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the longest running television shows in the world. It was on the 24th of May, 1956, that Europe saw the first ever Eurovision Song Contest. The contest is one of the most typical European traditions and without doubt, Europe’s favourite TV show!
The Eurovision Song Contest will be screened on SBS from Wednesday May 20 to Sunday May 24.
