The Soundwave 2015 sideshows are beginning to flow. Two massive ‘Sidewaves’ shows have just been announced. Celebrated Californian rockers Incubus will headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Fronted by the fabulous Brandon Boyd, the band, which has sold over 13 million records had a string of hits in the 90s including Drive, Nice To Know, Wish You Were Here and Meglomaniac.
The killer punch of this gig however is the support list which include Antemasque and Le Butcherettes. Antemasque is the new music project for Mars Volta, At The Drive In main guys Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala. The band released their debut album in mid 2014 and proved once again that everything they touch turns to musical integrity. To top it off, Teri Gender Bender returns with her energetic garage-punk outfit Le Butcherettes.

Also announced late last week was the Slash and Steel Panther double bill, which will also play Sydney and Melbourne sideshows. The former Guns n Roses axeman returns with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators backing him and playing some iconic rock n roll riffs. Steel Panther’s cult following will also be out in force to catch their infamous glam rock party.
