In the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, Haworth Guitars are launching a new musical initiative with the aim of bringing people together through music.
It’s no secret that learning a musical instrument has proven benefits to mental health and well-being such as; reducing stress and depression, increasing blood flow to the brain, building resilience and increasing self-confidence.
So during this daunting and isolating time, Haworth’s are challenging EVERYONE to learn a new instrument through their “Keep Jammin” initiative.
To kick-start the initiative, Haworth’s are giving away a New Fender Stratocaster via their Instagram account @haworthguitars
Haworth’s are also offering extra discounts online as well as free freight Australia-wide so that new and experienced musicians can use this time to learn a new instrument or refine their skills on their preferred instrument of choice.
To add to the “Keep Jammin” initiative, Haworth’s will also be launching online lessons packages as a part of their Haworth Music School so that anyone can learn from the comfort of their own home.
“It’s all part of our initiative to keep people playing music in these challenging times” Director Glenn Haworth said.
“I always have people tell me they wished they’d learned an instrument when they were younger. Well now I can say ‘Why not now?’ We are putting out the challenge to everyone to take this opportunity to learn a new instrument and to current musicians to refine their skills.”
“We have all the gear you need for guitar, ukulele, banjo, drums, bass, harmonica, whatever you like, and will ship it to you for free online no matter where you are!”
“Plus we have the teachers to teach you too! There’s really no excuse” Haworth says.
Haworth Guitars are also promising to share any content with the hashtag #keepjammin via social media to promote musicians who are using this time to refine their skills and to encourage beginner musicians to keep jammin!
