Sad news coming out of the music retail world is that Macron Music’s Erina store is to close. Macron Music started on the Central Coast in 1978 as an organ retailer. In a statement from owner Anthony Ursino, he said, “It is with great difficulty that I must announce that we have had to make the decision to close the NSW store in Erina. The last two years have been the most tumultuous to try to do business in and with the rise of inflation and operating costs, we have no choice other than to streamline back to one location.”

Macron Music in Melbourne, purchased in 2019 will become their sole location and single focus, offering a great e-commerce business, servicing clients Australia-wide.

No date has been set for the Erina store closure as yet but Anthony says “the closure will take place quite quickly,” with updates soon.

Australian Musician wishes all of the staff well in their next endeavours and a prosperous future to the Melbourne operation.
