The program for 2021 Make Music Day has built for the last few weeks to a point that there will be over one hundred events, large and small that will celebrate Music Making and culminate with Make Music Day on Monday, June 21.
These event will take place all over Australia. In times of uncertainty, it is significant number of events featuring hundreds of Australians all of whom want to make music for the love of it. From the Byron Music Festival to the NSW Festival of Place program of events, to Universities and TAFEs, to railway stations, parks and livestreams Make Music Day lights up many towns and places.
We imagined a day where free, live music will be everywhere on June 21 – on street corners, verandahs and rooftops, in parks, gardens and public spaces, on public transport, shopping places or public halls; and of course, Online. We think we’ve got that and more.
Our 2021 program of events, is a wonderful demonstration of people’s creativity. Check it out to see if there’s an event near you. Congratulations to all those organisers who have created events. There are too many to single out here but please go online to check it out! CLICK HERE
