MELBOURNE GUITAR SHOW GOES ISO FOR MAKE MUSIC DAY JUNE 21

Australian Musician magazine online presents a very special virtual version of the Melbourne Guitar Show on Make Music Day, June 21. Some of Australia’s finest exponents of the guitar and other fretted instruments will perform in isolation for Make Music Day Australia. This two hour plus Facebook Fest will also be promoting Support Act and its COVID 19 Appeal, which is supporting musicians and other industry workers through these difficult times. Please, if you enjoy our virtual concert, donate to this worthy course.

Our show will feature live performances by some of Australia’s finest musicians including Phil Manning, James Ryan, Fiona Boyes, Nick Charles, Jeremy Barnes, Lloyd Spiegel, Anna Scionti, Joshua Batten, Opal Ocean, Mike Elrington, Simon Gardiner, The Thin White Ukes, Lucas Michailidis, and Ben Kelly, with more names to come.

The Melbourne Guitar Show has a rich history of entertaining punters with live performances, demos and offering a huge array of guitar gear for the last five years at Caulfield Racecourse. While covid-19 has put a stop to this year’s physical presentation, we hope that this isolation version on June 21 as part of Make Music Day will at least bring a smile to your face and encourage you to continue to enjoy the guitar. All going well, we hope to present a full scale Melbourne Guitar Show in March 2021.
