Tangerine Dream, Cut Copy (DJ), The Church, Architecture in Helsinki, Dusky, Black Cab and more artists have been confirmed in the first announcement of artists for Melbourne Music Week.
One of the highlights of Melbourne Music Week will be German electronic music pioneers, Tangerine Dream, who will play the ten thousand pipes of the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ for a sonic experience like no other. They’ll be supported by Black Cab, Melbourne’s own kraut-inspired, electronic lead-out men.
Also occurring during MMW is the Face The Music industry conference which will feature Steve Albini as guest speaker.
The full program for MMW will be announced on Wednesday October 8th
