For the past 126 years, Gibson has been synonymous with guitars. In 2019, Gibson emerged as a leader again by offering new, relevant and award-winning guitars. Combined with a re-energized brand and renewed commitment from all Gibson artists, 2020 is set to take Gibson to the next level as they showcase the new line-up, launch history-making new collections and artist collaborations during Winter NAMM 2020.
To celebrate, the re energised Gibson company presented their amazing annual (I think it’s safe to say that now!) “Gibson Live at The Grove” concert on Thursday, January 16 at City National Grove Of Anaheim.
Featuring Slash (celebrating his new Gibson guitar collection), Cheap Trick, Don Felder, Billy Gibbons, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Elliot Easton (Cars) and more, along with a top shelf band, it was a night of vintage classic rock. Slash joined Eagle Don Felder on a ripping California. Cheap Trick’s Robin and Rick joined Billy Gibbons and Slash for some powerful rock riffs including smoking version of Tush. So many rock stars, so many Gibson guitars, so many highlights in one of the most memorable rock gigs you’d ever want to see.
