Northern College of the Arts and Technology (NCAT) has the only accredited course in Australia for musical instrument making and repair, specialising in guitars. Our graduates from the Certificate III & Certificate IV courses are sought after for positions at both of the Melbourne based world class guitar manufacturers, Maton and Cole Clark. It could be you! Here’s a great opportunity for you.
This course will teach you all of the skills required to build and repair both acoustic and electric guitars to high standard.
You will also learn how to establish and run your own business if you so choose, or to at least know how business works.
