5150™ SERIES Limited Edition 5150 TM Deluxe Ash ($2,899.00 AUD)
Engineered for speed, comfort and full-throttle attitude, the reimagined 5150™ Series Deluxe Ash is an iconic blast from the past that blends both throwback and modernized features. The Limited Edition 5150™ Deluxe Ash features a modified Strat®-style body with a deeper upper body curve. The ash body is paired with a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck that has a comfortable modified “C” profile, heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel and “hockey stick” headstock with EVH® logo decal. The 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays. While the famed striped original had a single humbucking bridge pickup only, the 5150 Deluxe is outfitted with a dual humbucking configuration featuring EVH® Wolfgang® Alnico 2 humbucking pickups with three-way toggle switching on the upper bout. A custom designed low friction volume knob creates even-volume tapering for the smoothest volume swells, while the high friction tone knob will stay in place even if accidentally bumped. An added new feature comes in the way of a lower bout kill switch, allowing players to mute your guitar for those stutter, rhythmic effects — think “You Really Got Me.” Decked out with a “dive-bomb” certified EVH-branded top-mount Floyd Rose bridge, the locking tailpiece features fine tuners for each string and a patented EVH D-Tuna® for switching back and forth from drop-D to standard tuning in an instant. STRIPED SERIES EVH® Striped Series ’78 Eruption ($3,699.00 AUD)
The all-new EVH® Striped Series ’78 Eruption guitar combines many of Eddie Van Halen’s famed mods along with modernized features and a relic treatment e. The Stratocaster®-style body sports Eddie’s famed white-and-black-striped paint job and has been paired to a quartersawn maple neck with a hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish. The 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets was designed for fast and furious playing styles with maximum comfort, while a heel-mount truss rod wheel makes for time-saving neck adjustments. A single EVH Wolfgang® humbucking bridge pickup provides classic Eddie Van Halen guitar tone – from crystal cleans to fat and rich mids and lows, while the brass nut and six-saddle vintage Fender® Stratocaster® synchronized tremolo bridge with a 43mm brass block allow for authentic EVH tone. Wolfgang® WG Standard Exotic Laurel Burl ($1,399.00 AUD)
The Wolfgang® WG Standard Exotic Laurel Burl offers a basswood body with special “comfort cut” forearm contour for maximum playing ease, along with attractive natural body binding and a sophisticated laurel burl top. Its bolt-on baked maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods holds strong against the ravages of temperature and humidity, while a conveniently located spoke wheel at the base of the neck makes for quick and painless truss rod adjustments.
