OWN SOME OF TOMMY EMMANUEL’S GEAR!

The Official Tommy Emmanuel Reverb Shop is now live HERE

Tommy Emmanuel—the guitar virtuoso, fingerstyle master, and generous teacher (of G6 tuning, Elizabeth Cotten’s “Freight Train,” and balladry techniques)—is coming back to Reverb.com (10am Wed Feb 24 USA/5am Thurs Feb 25 Australia) ) to part with some stellar pieces from his collection and sell autographed signature models for a good cause.

The Official Tommy Emmanuel Reverb Shop is opening its virtual doors once more, with a sweet cache of acoustic and electric guitars, amps, pedals, and accessories. A portion of proceeds from the shop will be donated to Guitars for Vets, which gives instruments to US military veterans to help ease post-traumatic stress disorder.

Included in the shop will be a vintage 1945 Martin D-18 as well as one of the company’s modern Street Master acoustics, a Hofner bass, and a custom TSW Tele-style electric. But perhaps the most exciting instruments are Emmanuel’s own Tommy Emmanuel 808 Signature from Maton.

There are six models each of the traditional and cutaway 808 Signatures. As Emmanuel says in our video above, “They are beautiful and beautifully made guitars.” An inlay on the 12th fret reads “C.G.P.” for the title given to Emmanuel by Chet Atkins—”Certified Guitar Player”—and a kangaroo on the headstock reminiscent of the Australian guitarist’s tour pendant.

Also up for grabs are five of his new signature Udo Roesner De Capo 75 amps, which will also be autographed by Emmanuel himself. For acoustic players, there’s a lot to love about this amp’s tonal qualities. Whether you’re playing quietly or loud, it offers a rich, balanced tone. “I’ve been in situations where I’ve had the amp beside me on stage, and the crew have been astounded at how big it sounds,” Emmanuel says.

In addition to the guitars and amps, Emmanuel is selling some of his signature series David Laboga cables, more than a dozen pedals from Boss, Ibanez, Xotic, and more.
