American artist, singer-songwriter and guitarist Samantha Fish is one of the fastest rising stars in the world of Blues and Rock and Roll. Building an enviable worldwide reputation with her extraordinary guitar skills and visceral live shows, Samantha and her band are returning to Australia in February for a run of not to be missed headline club shows around the country.
The tour kicks off at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on February 16, then heads to Newcastle’s Lizotte’s, Sydney’s Manning Bar, on to The Basement in Canberra, Fremantle’s Freo Social Club and Melbourne’s Memo Music Hall, before ending at The Gov in Adelaide on February 25. Tickets to all shows on sale now.
Over the course of Samantha’s career to date the multi award-winning performer has brought extraordinary power to her self-expression, capturing her inner world in combustible riffs, pounding rhythms, and spine-tingling vocal work. Her latest album Faster (2021) which was produced by Martin Kierszenbaum (Lady Gaga, Sting, Cheryl Crow) sees Fish, never one to be pigeonholed, explore even more new ground, incorporating elements of pop, contemporary R&B and even hip-hop into her music. The album has scored rave reviews from critics and fans alike, and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Blues Chart.

“From the moment Samantha Fish stepped out of the shadows at the back of the stage, grabbed her trademark cigar box guitar, and purposely strode to the center of the stage, she oozed swagger and self-confidence… By the time the set drew to a close with “Black Wind Howlin’,” the room was roaring with approval and “howlin’” for more.” – Concertaddicts.com
“Samantha and her touring band consist of Ron Johnson on bass, drummer Sarah Tomek, and Matt Wade on keyboards. This incredible lineup of musicians deliver the material with raw emotion, powerful expression and precision… From the opening note, and especially if you have never seen her perform, you know you are in for a night of rock and roll magic” – Gratefulweb.com
