Miss out on Splendour tickets? Not to worry, Telstra are partnering with Splendour to create Splendour In The Grass TV!  Catch blur, Royal Blood, Of Monsters and Men, Peking Duk and more on Splendour In The Grass TV.

Telecast begins Sunday at 5pm and Mark Ronson and Tkay Maidza have now been added to the mix!

On Sunday July 26th, from 5pm (AEST), Telstra will be bringing you exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews, live sets and featured sets, from the lush surrounds of North Byron Parklands, directly to you to enjoy, in the comfort of your lounge room! You can access the stream via telstra.com/music from 5pm, AEST. It’s all part of Telstra’s exclusive coverage of the festival to bring brilliant connected experiences to music lovers across the country.

James Mathison, Jane Gazzo and Ella Hooper will be your hosts for the evening, presenting a jam packed night of artist interviews, backstage goss, Splendour Awards for the Best of the Fest, and some huge live sets and featured sets across multiple stages, from festival headliners blur, who return to Australian shores for the first time in 18 years, with a set list peppered with tracks from their new album, The Magic Whip and a whole lotta hits! A band so dedicated to their live performance, their frontman Damon Albarn had to be literally carried of stage after a mammoth five-hour set at the recent Roskilde Festival.

If there is any band who can bring the house down with good old raw, rock n roll, it’s Royal Blood! The English two piece have only been together for two years, and in that short amount of time have managed to grace stages at the worlds biggest festivals and catch the eye, and the praise of Led Zeppelin’s guitarist Jimmy Page who told the world they were “fantastic… absolutely riveting”, tune in and see why!

Indie folk poppers Of Monsters and Men’s, debut album flew into the Australian charts at #1 in 2011, and our love affair with the multiplatinum sellers has continued ever since. The Icelandic five piece are global festival favourites and regulars on late night TV in the USA thanks their stunning live sets.

Our very own electro fuse, house duo Peking Duk hold the enviable mantle of having one of the most played songs on triple j, ever! Their song ‘High’ definitely hit a high note with music lovers here, and encouraged the Canberraians to spread their wings to the US and beyond.

Brisbane singer songwriter Jarryd James is one of those rare mythical stories of the music industry; he literally came from nowhere and embedded himself in our music loving hearts! Releasing his debut single ‘Do You Remember’ in January this year, it peaked at #2 on the ARIA charts and found a place on playlists for pretty much every radio station in the country!
