Taylor Swift announced additional dates to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour today. The Australian dates of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, presented by Crown and Frontier Touring, will kick off on 16 February 2024 in Melbourne and 23 February 2024 in Sydney with special guest artist, Sabrina Carpenter.
“Even addressing a stadium of seventy thousand people, the singer seems to be speaking directly to you, confessing something urgent,” said the New York Times of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Australian fans are keen to get a piece of that action as well. Taylor’s album ‘Midnights’ has become the most streamed album in a week in ARIA history whilst also having the biggest vinyl sales debut ever, selling over 10,000 vinyl units in its first week. It has clocked up its 13th non-consecutive week at #1 on the ARIA albums chart, making it her longest-running #1 album in Australia. 2020 saw her become the first artist to have three different albums top the ARIA Charts in a 12-month period, according to ARIA.
Taylor will be bringing her friend Sabrina Carpenter along for the ride too. Sabrina Carpenter has enchanted an audience of millions as a singer, songwriter, actress and style icon. With her music, she has delivered one anthem after another on stage and in the studio, earning multiple gold certifications, and performing to sold out crowds across the United States and internationally.
