TESKEY BROTHERS SUN HANGS LOW TOUR & NEW VIDEO

It’s been a big year for Melbourne’s The Teskey Brothers. The soul revivalists won the hearts of many with their debut album Half Mile Harvest which reached #18 on the ARIA album chart and earned the band three nominations at this year’s Music Victoria Awards. Rhythms Magazine dubbed them “the best blues singin’ band Australia has to offer” and one fan claims the record has taken up indefinite residence on her lounge room turntable.

A July headline tour sold out from top to bottom including four massive nights Melbourne’s The Corner Hotel. This week The Teskey Brothers set off on their first international tour which sees them playing LA, New York and two sold out nights in London before returning home to support Midnight Oil at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and then play the main stage at Queenscliff Music Festival.

So you’d think after all that they might take a breather. You’d be wrong.
Instead, the foursome will pack up their horn section and hit the road for a run of dates in November and December to share some new songs and round out 2017 in style. The Sun Hangs Low Tour will roll through Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney with support from Timberwolf, and close out at their biggest show to date at Melbourne Zoo Twilights on January 26th. Support at the Zoo comes from fellow soul shakers Saskwatch.
Today the band also release a new video clip for their catchy southern soul number ‘Louisa’. It features the band in a fast-paced foot chase through their leafy hometown of Warrandyte in Victoria. See clip below
