Just a few weeks out from The Jezabels follow up album to The Brink, they’ve delivered ‘Pleasure Drive’, the first single from their forthcoming third studio LP, ‘Synthia’, in store February 12, 2016.
Accompanying the release is a gothically grand video clip. Like Chrissie Hynde staring in an episode of True Blood, ‘Pleasure Drive’ sees The Jezabels cast a spell of operatic gothic pop in a video overcome with the dark grip of lust. A haunting power takes hold of frontwoman Hayley Mary and a diner full of enchanted women taking the control back from their domineering partners.
‘Pleasure Drive’ follows the shady industrial encounter and captivating animation of ‘Come Alive’ and will be available as an instant grat track for pre-orders of the album on iTunes from January 22nd.
