TopMusicCo, the world’s leading provider of online professional development, training and support for music teachers has just announced the launch of its TopMusicGuitar program to support guitar teachers globally.
The launch will be kicking off with a massive online meetup of guitar teachers to be held on 18th October at 11am Melbourne time*.
“Ever since we started creating courses, videos, lesson plans and business training for piano teachers back in 2010, guitar teachers have been knocking on our door wondering when we will start helping them. Well, I’m excited to announce that, after months of planning, the time is now” said Tim Topham, founder of TopMusic.
“TopMusic’s programs aim to reduce the isolation instrumental teachers feel, upskill them in their teaching and support them with business training and strategic advice.”
“Very few instrumental teachers ever receive any formal business training, even though it’s critical to their success as a teacher” he said. “Simple things like finding new students, knowing your numbers, building an online presence – teachers rarely get training in these areas. That’s where TopMusic comes in”.
The Global Guitar Teacher Meetup will be the first in a series of free online events for guitar teachers hosted by TopMusic’s Head of Guitar Michael Gumley in the coming months.
Attendees can expect a 1-hour power summit unpacking the latest trends, teaching essentials and lesson ideas to help students have more fun, stay motivated and keep learning with teachers for years.
“At TopMusic, we’re really passionate about helping teachers level up their skills so that they can create a better learning experience for their students and contribute to a world where more people experience the joy of learning an instrument and can reflect positively upon their time taking lessons. We can’t wait to extend this opportunity to guitar teachers so that we can help them achieve this same mission.” Michael Gumley said.
