TROY CASSAR DALEY ACQUIRES NEW TAKAMINE THERMAL TOP GUITAR

Ahead of October dates with Ian Moss, Troy Cassar Daley has acquired a new Takamine TEF450CTTBSB
THERMAL TOP BSB guitar, which he has been showing off on social media recently.

This new Takamine model takes advantage of “Thermal Top” technology, in which the spruce wood for the guitar tops are baked in a controlled high-heat, low-oxygen environment.

The result is the volume and tone of a well-seasoned vintage guitar in a brand new instrument. The NEX shape of the TEF450CTTBSB, is an original Takamine body shape and is a scaled down jumbo at heart. The NEX has a silky balance to the tone that supports vocals beautifully.
An elegant Venetian cutaway offers optimum access to the upper registers. The TEF450CTTBSB is a beautifully made instrument, featuring “Grass Flower” inlays made from hundreds of pieces of abalone and pearl. The neck is made of maple with a striped ebony fingerboard. The body features beautifully flamed maple on the back and sides, giving the player a bold and articulate voice. The unique Takamine split-saddle bone bridge provides faultless intonation and excellent acoustic coupling to the top. Like the other guitars in the TT Series, it features the TLD2 Line Driver preamp and Takamine’s legendary Palathetic pickup system.
